Kind dope view from last ditch hotel stay in mui ne
Back to the coast (Dalat-Mui Ne)
Getting towards the end of our Vietnam adventure we headed back to the coast to Mui Ne. A small resort area once rather isolated but now visited by tourist and for good reason! We checked into our resort and we’re happy to be informed we had been upgraded to a room with a huge balcony with a sea view, we were happy! A relaxing few days were ahead of us with a bit of beach time too. On the last day we hired a motorbike to explore the surrounding area, about 40km out of town there are white sand dunes… A mini Sahara desert! Plenty of quad bike darting around the sand… But the skies were turning rather dark so we just walked on the sand for a while. On route back to town we stopped via the red sand dunes hoping to catch sunset…. By this point the skies were rolling with black cloud creeping over the land and heading out to sea…. Quick we thought, let’s head off to find a restaurant nearer town. Of course the rain caught up with us and we got completely soaked, time to stop and watch the spectacular lightning out at sea… The thunder cracked above us, pretty epic!
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in our whole travels. Massive rooms and a gorgeous pool. The breeze restaurant is wonderful, excellent food, really great staff and a lovely atmosphere. Loved this place would highly recommend if planning a trip to Vietnam.
