Alolan Muk (2026) - Fantastical Parade Illustrator: Mékayu
Pokemon x Spirited Away by mikripkm on X
Poorly drawn Grimer line.
Zubat girl and (Alolan) Muk girl!
Yes, this is toxic yuri. However, they are toxic to OTHER people- like when they blast music in their apartment all night and prevent their neighbor Psyduck from getting any sleep :(

Team Rocket's Muk -- Uta
I recently learned that Muk are a endangered species and, that's so sad, muks always look so silly and happy in the pictures I have seem, but at the same time how do you save a pokemon that is so toxic it can stop plants from growing and contaminate an entire river? :(((
it was a bit touch-and-go with muk for a while in some regions, but the muk and grimer population is doing pretty well in most regions they can be found in now. this is the result of a lot of hard work from conservationists, waste management specialists, environmental scientists, poison type specialists, and manufacturing companies. as you can imagine, it's really hard to safely maintain an environment where these pokemon can live without causing harm to the land around them.
ultimately, there are always going to be grimer and muk, because humans are always going to produce waste. and it's important to recognize just how helpful the muk line can be in reducing human waste! their bodies are so incredibly toxic and laden with specialized bacteria that they can break down products that otherwise don't degrade. the issue with this is that doing so makes the area around them pretty much a dead zone for anything else. so, through collaboration from a lot of experts, several "muk parks" were built for muk to live in! these parks are designed to keep the muk and all their byproducts contained to keep the surrounding area safe and clean, while waste products are dropped off for them to eat and break down. the people who work there have the unenviable job of monitoring and caring for the pokemon while also working to neutralize the byproducts of the pokemon's digestion. this is dangerous and stinky work, and they deserve a lot of recognition for how important it is to maintaining a clean and healthy environment!
