Even though it’s a heart/linktype, I’d probably look like this as a mule
No specific coat, just these general colours and patterns
(As a side-note, calling myself a “mule” feels really good. Honestly, a bit better than calling myself a horse does.)

Hm, while I’m not quite an equid (as much as I may wish to be one), if I were one, I might be a mule instead of a horse.
Like, I identify with a lot of horse traits and behaviours, but there are some things that could fit better.
For one, their manes & tails tend to be much longer than I feel I’d have, they’re more delicate than I would be, they have hooves that are larger than what I would have, and they’re usually more predisposed towards speed (rather than strength or endurance).
But mules.
They have so many traits that I already identify with, and they’re still incredibly horse-like.
Mules have smaller hooves, shorter manes & tails, thicker skin, greater stamina and ability to move weight (!!!!), and they still have all of the body-shape/colour stuff from horses I identify with.
So, I may be a mule. Sort of. In an otherhearted/link way.
