Description: On the surface, there doesn’t seem to be anything spectacular about a cryptid slug. Except that it’s over 6ft long. Said to live in the Congo Jungle, the Mulilo Slug is said to live near the ends of rainbows, and have a poisonous breath.

The Mulilo Slug is a massive slug said to live in the Congo near the Zaire and Zambia regions of Africa. Reports say it can reach over six feet in length and while some accounts say it is a herbivore there are others which say it has an appetite for chickens.

The Mulilo Slug is an alleged giant slug found living in the Congo. The Mulilo Slug is described as a giant slug that is 6 feet long and a foot wide and its colors are said to range from brown to black to grayish-white and is believed to have a poisonous breath. The Mulilo Slug is said to be herbivorous and only appears when there is a rainbow in the sky and climbs trees. Natives to the area would often try to capture these slugs using roosters as bait due to them believing that the slug’s skin had magical properties. Experts believe that the Mulilo Slug could actually be the Limax Maximus which is the largest known species of slug however they are only found in Europe not Africa. Or experts also believe that the Mulilo Slug could be a pale colored Gaboon Viper misidentified as a slug.

The Mulilo Slug is a gigantic species of slug that is sometimes seen in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia. It is described as being brown or gray in color. Legends say that the Mulilo Slug only appears when there has been a rainbow, can grow up to 6 feet in length and that it exhales poison.
