Interesting, a number of hikers don’t specifically remember where photos were taken so I have found it a worthy challenge to make an educated guess. I place these gnarled old mountain junipers south of Mulkey Meadows and north of Olancha Peak in the Golden Trout Wilderness. Other guesses?
