Man, multibodied entity's POV is such a fun concept why is it almost exclusively used as a metaphor of oppressive society erasing the individual or some parasite that steals your soul, why isn't there more exploration of it for the fun of it with a personhood and personality assigned to the whole rather than parts. And even in media with focus on this trope it's nearly never a true entity and always some mangled together jenga tower ready to fall into pieces.

I post this sentiment on a regular basis, I know

Consider a hive (or rather a full mental fusion, like two colors of a plasticine mashed together into a new thing that isn't just the two of them together but a third thing entirely) mind with original members having a different sex, say consisting just of two people, woman and a man

On their own they used to be straight but in a state of this mental fusion their desires combine so they (as an entity) become fully bisexual even though the attraction for a certain sex originally came from those individual parts of them

A woman part tries to flirt with a guy she really likes but he turns out to be gay

But because the woman is mind fused with that other dude, this dude is the same person as she is and desires this guy just as much and may end up interesting that guy quite a lot

So, if he, that outsider guy, participates in an intercourse with that male part of the hive mind even though reciprocated interest is coming from that woman part of the hive (but it is inseparable from that of an entity) does it count as somewhat of a breach of consent if the hive doesn't disclose being a hive but in terms of behaviour and mind both bodies are Exactly the same different only in appearance

Does your response change depending on whether or not the entity can be unfused back into the separate parts

I wonder if for a multibodied entity with identical bodies it could be tricky to distinguish between their different bodies too, like for the purpose of maintaining oral hygiene, going back to the idea of them having separate toothbrushes for each of their bodies. Is it intuitively obvious which body is which or would it require some visible markers to make the distinction? Like small tattoos with different symbols or numbers or something like wearing rubber bands of different colors for each of the bodies, or something more subtle.

Of all the commonly used biblical references and symbolism why isn't the swarm of locusts up there in the S tier? Absolute banger concept that actually exists that I never see used anywhere

Weird thing you could probably see in multibodied entity's home is a toothbrush holder with ridiculous amount of toothbrushes that doesn't match the amount of people the housing is designed for. This is in case multibodied entity doesn't live in the same house/apartment but has several places where different bodies can stay at different times. So even if a given apartment is only occupied with like two-three bodies at a time, the amount of toothbrushes will match the total number of bodies.

I'm so happy. I just checked Wikipedia page about hive minds and saw that the tables I added with examples in literature and television have some new entries that weren't added by me. This article is finally getting some love 🥰

A movie date with multibodied entity with distinctly different bodies, but you think you go on a date with just one of them but in the middle of a movie it drops a confession that you can relax and stop telling it to talk quieter because "I made sure it's only the two of us" and as you look in confusion around the cinema hall, everyone in the audience turn to face you and makes jazz hands, smiling. You will never recover.
