While doing research for an upcoming blog post, I stumbled across this #curlyhair styling tip on @mycheekycurls website: to apply leave-in conditioner AFTER your styler. This was the first time I’d heard of it, but if you haven’t noticed already, I like doing really random tests on my hair...that’s the fun part of the #curlyhairjourney & I hope my experimentations have been enjoyable for you too! It didn’t sound intuitive at all, but you know I had to try. This was the result on day two after wash day (when I added the leave in). I used the @miss_jessies #MulticulturalCurls cream first then applied my @officialkinkycurly Knot Today leave-in & finished by diffusing with my @thecurlyco diffuser. You can swipe to see the MAJOR difference between the volume and texture on day one versus day two. I had no idea this would happen when making the switch, I thought it was going to do the opposite and add more definition to my hair, but also weigh it down. Have you tried this out before? What were your results?
