It’s been 2 months since the little revolt with Subject Rho, and for the most part he has stayed in line. He endured every hour on the examination table, every retry in the training room, every second being observed by those weaker than him.

But a beast can only behave for so long. Baxter had to keep up his end of the bargain, or he would have to deal with another of Rho’s tantrums. He sat in his office, staring mindlessly at his computer as he thought of way to keep Rho entertained.

“Should I... It may be too early... But I can’t expend them should he go overboard... And i’ve recruited enough staff for the Project already,” he muttered these thoughts out loud. Hoping to find an answer that would benefit him and Rho.

“Can you believe the Director?” A pair of security guards were talking among themselves, “Is he really going to start listening to those freaks?”

“I’m not happy about this little agreement he’s made with the Subjects either, but he’s gotta find a way to keep them in line.”

“I know a way to keep them in line. It’s called a bullet to head.”

“You ever seen someone actually kill one of those things?”

“They’re still human ain’t they? A gun’ll kill em like any other.”

“I need a status report on the Security,” Baxter was walking down a hall speaking to man in charge of the guards.

“Everything is secure sir. No intruders, and the Subjects are handled accordingly.”

“That’s all I need to hear,” Baxter says as he enters his office. “We can’t afford to be lenient after what happened 2 years ago. I will not go through that again.”

Project Legacy AU

David Baxter: The Project Director

Anax Walker: Subject Alpha

Project Legacy is a black project with one goal in mind: The creation of the Perfect Human; one that is superior physically, mentally, and emotionally. Resources are limitless thanks to anonymous supporters, Scientists are brought from all over the world, and David Baxter oversees everything. He gives the orders, he approves the tests, and he decides if anyone has outlived their usefulness.

The Roles of this AU are (though not restricted to):

The Scientists that Baxter recruits

Security Guards charged with handling the Subjects should they misbehave

Any Subjects that are created during the experiment

A Subject, Codename: Peacekeeper charged with finding and terminating Subject Alpha

A Role that is discussed with me, (privately if you wish)

There is only one Peacekeeper, but whether they are a Subject or not will be discussed to all who are interested

If you decide to create a Subject, there are few rules to follow:

Each Subject is named after the Greek Alphabet (Ex: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, etc.)

Any alternate names a Subject receives has to match the first letter of their Subject Name (Ex. Subject Gamma: Gary, Greg, Gerard, Gazelle, etc.)

The goal of Project Legacy is to create a Perfect Human, so all Subjects have to be human. Cybernetic enhancements and equipment is allowed, as long as the Subject remains human
