Let's Build a New System

A not-at-all subtle poem

This piece may be a little on the nose/in your face for a poem, but that’s just how it worked out. I’ve been playing with it for months and honestly, direct felt best.

Systems are made to do exactly what they are built for. If a system is built to oppress, it is not “broken” and cannot be fixed. It must be dismantled and a new system, not based on hierarchies of human value, must be built.
