Multiplayer progress #3
Hello all. In the past 2 days I haven't progressed too much in the field of the multiplayer features, but I have done some progress. I've now completed the updating of the "actualization" of a ship. That is the progress when the design of the ship hovering over the platform becomes a real ship. And also I did complete the welding updating as well eventually. It was giving me so much grief that I was for the first time in years frustrated enough to just close the programming programs down and go play a video game. But I conquered it eventually! What is still not updated in the netcode: - Spaceship flying (it sort of works, but imagine if the driver's character was glued to the side of the ship and it runs against it, causing it to steer somewhere where it isn't supposed to go) - Building blocks and their updating. I think I might re-work some of the building block mechanics because they were done and adjusted for our "tinyblueguy.png" character, which is about 4-6 times shorter than our animated dude. As such, the blocks are... small, needless to say. I think I'll go with 1/2 of the height of the guy for the block height, and width of course the same.
