This reminds me of Elizabeth Gilbert’s promise to her art that she would never ask for it to provide for her financially, which I love. It’s also a reminder that it’s okay that my current job is boring and awful, it’s not my passion or my art, it’s just something that pays the bills and let’s me do the things I really want to do.
