Had a heart to heart/deep talks about religions with my group of multi-religion friends. Im so so grateful to have them being so open and so non judgemental about everyone. And we’re able to clarify and strike out each stereotypes but also laughs and detest the extremes in our own religions. There’s something about sharing and understanding about the way other religions work and their justification behind it that helps you open your eyes to their own world and how they view it. The freethinkers in the group are also very open and gave us a lot of their opinions too and made those of us with religion to ponder also about certain things we never had to consider. Opening up our minds because some of us grew up and choose to be in that religion some of us didn’t choose to be and that’s okay. Because who are we to judge someone when we ourselves are human too and commit wrongs when we dont realize it. And in everyone’s belief: we all are to be kind to one another and to be good. No religion would spread hate, no one with a moral would spread hate. And in the midst of understanding one another, i understand myself better and why i still am proud of my choice. It helps you to re-centre yourself and make yourself closer to what you belief in. Creating harmony and unity when religion had always been a barrier and us knowing our boundaries to not offend one another. We are in no way to talking abt our religion to influence one another, but more to share and understand and fully come to terms to accept everyone for who they are.
