IISM Students grinding it out with Mumbai City FC in ISL 2025-26 ⚽

The latest season of the Indian Super League (ISL), which kicked off in February 2026, has seen several aspiring sports professionals from IISM's Sports Management batches work with Mumbai City FC. 🏟️

Supporting their team operations on matchdays and throughout the season, many of our students are fulfilling their dream of working at the stadium with the team they rooted for during their childhood. 🤩

Applying their learnings of venue operations & team management, these youngsters are gaining valuable live exposure in the ISL, which will solidify their foundation in the sports industry.

A priceless experience for future sports professionals! ⚽️

About 110 IISM students went on an exclusive stadium tour to Mumbai Football Arena 🏟️ before the match day of ‘Mumbai City Fc’ vs ‘East Bengal City Fc’, exploring the parts of the areas like Stands, Broadcasting Room 🎤, Press Conference Room, Dressing Room, and so on.

While they took a tour around the ground 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️, they had the opportunity to gain insights into the overall preparation of the match, such as stadium operations, ticket costing 🎟️, field preparation, sports marketing 📈, and media communication.

The stadium visit wasn’t just a tour. It’s a classroom of real-world sports affairs. 🧑‍🏫

IISM's students visited the Mumbai Football Arena - Home of ISL champions Mumbai City FC, for a study tour. 

It was a great learning experience for our students as Mr. Jonathan Rego, Head of Corporate Services at Mumbai City FC, interacted with our sports management students to share some informative knowledge on the different aspects of a football team's on-ground management. 

The students even got an access to the team's dressing room, broadcasting room, media room and anti-doping room.
