“How are you feeling then, I brought some food but I had no idea what you would like; when I was pregnant with you my tastebuds were all over the place.” River smiled as she walked into her daughter’s home.

River wasn’t quite sure how she was suppose to be feeling tonight, she only knew that she was very nervous. That seemed some what natural; she wanted to make a good impression on Ryan especially since her daughter had seemed so, well, in love, the last time she had seen her.
She’d made her way to their home making sure to be on time, she was alone but she and her daughter had both been aware that was the possibility. Taking a deep breath she knocked on the door.
“Okay it’s okay, it’s okay.” River was quick to rush over the park and pick up the young child. “Its okay Mummy’s here.”
"Merry Christmas my little star." River said with a grin as she picked up her child
