2AM thoughts.
In the corner of my closest, there is a box.
It is filled with old memories. Pictures of old best friends, little mementos here and there, sentimental things. The ones that are meaningless and yet they mean the world to me.
It gets me in this nostalgic mood of how things use to be so easy, so free. We were just kids who thought we have all figured it out.
We were happy.
And yet, here we are now, complete strangers. We say ‘’Hello’’ to be polite, but the look in your eyes shows true despair.
I still think about you now and then. Thinking if you’re happy?
You were my only true friend. You knew me from the inside out. We could talk for hours and it would feel like we barely spoke. You were my rock and you don't realize how much I regret how things turn out. You don’t know how much it is still killing me.
I fuck things up. And I fucked up myself too. I am not the same and I’m sure, with you in my life still, I would be a better person.
That’s life, they say. We grow old as we grow apart. You took your own path, and I took mine in the opposite direction.
Whatever happens, I really do hope you are happy. And that you get what you really deserve, the world at your feet.
Dreams do come true.
So my lifelong dream is finally coming to life. Going to America. Not only that. I'll be working and staying there for 4 months.
I'm so excited.
Reall :)
It finally hit me, that I am really leaving. In 2 days.
I have nothing packed. And no motivation to pack at all. I hate packing. And my goodbye party is like in a few hours. But I'm sitting at my computer in my PJs.
