okay this isn't actually an unpopular opinion in the grand scheme of the fandom but it seems to be in my little corner of the internet...

but i actually rather like ii3!! i think it's enjoyable and sweet and has some great writing and animation. i don't think it's necessarily the best season, and i'm well aware of its flaws, but i think it still has a lot going for it!!! maybe i'm just incredibly easy to please but i genuinely have a good time watching it. idk. feel free to disagree with me but i think it's lovely :)

also hm. yeah in terms of more broadly unpopular opinions. i think fan and test tube making bot is kind of strange and repetitive (the egg??) for the two of them and it would be interesting to maybe, idk, have bot be from meeple instead? or something? there's still plenty of stuff for fan and, especially, test tube to do in ii3 without having the bot plot (lol). especially with cabby. idk it just gives them more focus than necessary and there are better story options anyway... by all means i don't hate the choice but i think something more interesting could've been done there. also a good way to perhaps have some meeple stuff in ii3 without it just being bait-and-switches or off-hand references!!

rock star skinny by the real zebos!! i like this song but i do not like nickel... anyway, at least to me, this song fits how nickel doesn't like being liked if he doesn't think it's genuine. which he never does. and i don't blame him haha. this song also kinda represents how he's a jerk and how any appeal he has (to the viewers at least) is almost entirely ironic :'D
