↑ - for the easiest part about playing my character
The easiest part about writing Shigaraki’s character is the fact that he’s quite a rude guy. He swears and behaves awfully in a quite open way, which makes it easy for me to write him and his dialogue. Mostly because I can be a really crass person.
Another thing is that I really really love writing in silly references to video games, and since I like playing those, I’m familiar with a lot of terms. I like to keep sprinkling them into both dialogue and narration, because this here muse is a gigantic nerd who actually thinks like that and uses those words.
↓ - for the hardest part about playing my character
Well, the series this muse is from is quite new, so there is a lot of stuff that has not yet been revealed. I love doing head canons, but I am afraid of being wrong (horribly, terribly wrong), therefore I feel like I have to either avoid questions or give non-answers when Shigaraki is questioned about his quite peculiar looks or his past.
Aside from that I still have a lot to learn about writing his body language, since he is someone whose face his covered, his hand motions and body language in general is most important to show how he feels or what he feels like.

I loathe... a lot of things. but the thing I loathe most of all is when people go horribly OOC for wishfulfillment (without proper development that could explain their changes in personality). It messes me up. It’s worse when they’re roleplaying characters I’d muse, because then my muse starts screaming internally and my head 404′s.
Other things I really loathe are excessive amounts purple prose, people who use thesaurus to make their speech seem more lofty and intelligent and loads of typos/grammatical errors. And Godmodding of course. (Especially godmodding because of the kind of muses I usually have. It doesn’t do my name well if people with similar muses cause shit).
Really it’s just the usual things that people are peeved about.

◊ : What's your favourite thing about your muse?
My favorite thing.... I don’t know? I love Kenpei as a whole. He’s just the right combination of humble and polite, and then murderous awful and violent.... Together with his good looks and his character arc within the story (even though he’s really not that big of a character, more of a minor villain even if his role is high position-wise) he’s irresistible to me.
When it comes to role play in particular I like how I have to think through each and every step properly. I have to reason with myself just how he’ll behave towards who and why. I can also indulge in my own morbid interests with him and the fact that people will allow me to do that gets me incredibly giddy (just as giddy as my muse, really)
♠ : What is the hardest thing about playing this muse?
The things I like about Kenpei as a muse are also the things I have trouble with. It’s difficult being really friendly to people because of the way Kenpei is. It is the reason why I have to mentally battle with myself as to whether or not he’ll keep up his kind/polite appearance. It’s really difficult for me to manage that, but so far I think I’m keeping him IC, considering the situations.
And then I also have to worry about whether or not indulging in his hobbies will get me in trouble or not. I want to make sure I have the 100% explicit permission of whoever I RP with before I start doing things to anyone’s muse. It’s my law. I want to be able to live out Kenpei to his fullest, but I must be weary and I must make sure to get the okay. It’s difficult getting the courage to step forward and say “Hey, would you allow me to let Kenpei hurt your character horribly and revel in it in gross drawn-out detail?” You know.
Aside from that, Kenpei’s difficult with dialogue, he has a few different ways that he uses to refer to himself (normal I/me, ‘yours truly’ and ‘my/this humble self’) and sometimes I just don’t know how to lace that in properly.

☆ : What made you start playing your muse?
{{ Ohhh boy, prepare for a long story
My love for this character (as well as his muse) are both very, very new. They’re both not even a month old, really.
My friend and also castmate who likes a lot, if not all of the things I do as well decided that I simply HAD to read the series where my muse hails from (Kongou Banchou). She was telling me about it a lot and then she suddenly said “Wait, I almost forgot, there’s this guy who is totally your aesthetic”. Which was followed by some pages and panels with Kenpei Banchou.
I was absolutely sold the moment I saw his madness. It was literally love at first sight.
(I mean look at this…. )
So I read the manga within 2 days (it’s relatively short) and my muse was there right after. I wanted to pick him up somewhere right away because he’s just… so good. His personality, along with his design and abilities make him a great character to rp for me.
Honestly I have a lot of love put into my roleplaying and I hope it’s apparent. I could go into lengthy rants about why I chose to pick him up, but let’s not. I do, however, hope that you can all enjoy threads with him as much as I love playing him.
