Hi all, I’m back online and replies will be worked on but possibly slower than usual. I’ve had some drama to deal with - long story short; a drunkard family member who decided to start a physical fight with me.
I have a broken nose BUT don’t you worry I got a few punches in and help from siblings. I’m just on pain meds because it’s very uncomfortable.
I’m fine. There’s no love lost. It’s just a matter that has been resolved and was expected do some time.

He pulled up when Charlie and Vaggie didn't even have a working fridge. Like, Charlie, you're a princess, this isn't a finance issue, this is a management issue. Why was she advertising her hotel on the news before getting it operational? Girl, that's a condemned building, not a hotel
Alastor pulled up and clowned the hell out of everyone, but he put his money where his mouth is. He fixed up the hotel. He staffed it. He defended it. And he offered everyone food. All within the pilot!
During the series, he doesn't go out of his way to betray the hotel! Actually, he continues to defend & rebuild it. And follow Vaggie's orders re: the egg boys. He hooks Charlie up with the cannibals -- for a price, which I'm sure we'll see the consequences of , but as far as S1 goes, he did hook Charlie up with an army. And then he nearly died fighting! I've said it before and I'll say it again -- I don't care that he wasn't out for love and I don't care that he was cocky with Adam. He has the right to resist his own genocide.
I think Season 2 is setting him up to feel unappreciated and replaceable. I think in the larger meta conversation, his contributions to the hotel are downplayed just because of how he carries himself (an asshole). I'm not saying he won't necessarily be an antagonist in the future, because I don't know that, and he is shady as hell -- I'm saying he's not an antagonist now!
