Hey, what's your opinion on other dandy world like games?
Twilight Zone, Dolly's Factory, Crazy Skidlets, Anchored, Tropicaland and Fractured
Well I think a lot of people don't realize that Dandy's World wasn't the first one to come up with the idea, but it's the most popular so naturally people will copy it
I think being inspired by something you love is a great thing, so long as you do it ethically.
Unlike the Hello Kitty World and Cookie run one, both of which are huge with plagiarism and accusations of stealing ocs.
I only have complains with two.
Tropicaland. Only in that it's SOOO desaturated and bland for no reason? You'd expect a tropical game to be more colorful? I get it's a horror game but horror games can be colorful
I feel like Twilight Zone doesn't do enough to stand out from Dandy's World and looks more like a Dandy's World DLC than a standalone game.
I feel Dolly's Factory has the most potential in becoming just as popular, though it's facing accusations of using AI generated Placeholder assets, and personally I feel their design philosophy is all over the place.
I don't have any opinion on the other three
