Welp.

It's a bit more difficult than I thought to get into character for a blog response as compared to an IRC response (which had been and still is my primary RP medium), and I don't really have the time to fish around for so much muse while grappling with college. :(

Now, I do have another blog... but I won't link it here or mention its name / URL. You'll probably know that it's me if you see it, however. (It's still BASARA. It's still AU. Lol) I won't be hiding or anything like that.

Dōngguā [Dongwa] (冬瓜) means winter melon.

Xīguā [Sheegwa] (西瓜) means watermelon.

Shǎguā [Sagwa] (傻瓜) means... sillyhead (lit. silly melon though.) My mom compared this to naming someone Dummkopf, and expressed some confusion about why anyone would name someone else this.

Poor Sagwa! But at the same time, the name suited her nature rather well...
