How does it take for them to hatch? Hello!  Career interview went alright, and I still have no idea where I’m going for uni (college?  Do you guys say college?).  WOOHOOO YOU CAN PASS YOUR CLASSES I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!  I’m sure you’re not terrible and you will do well.  

We all say mateship!  Okay well not ALL of us.  But it’s a word that is at least semi-regularly used.  "Mate" is extremely common, although sometimes to be silly you say “m8”.  Mateship is definitely a word though!  I probably say it more than I say “g'day”, but then again people don’t really actually say g'day much here.  That’s more northern Australia.

I SHALL SEND YOU PICS OF ALFIE!!!!  But also I now have a praying mantis as of Sunday, and it is actually pink and orange and I don’t understand how or why but I’m not questioning it because she looks beautiful.  

DISNEY IS WONDERFUL THANKYOU DISNEY!!!!!!!!  Hmmmm I hope Civil War is excellent, but AoU is still stupid and not that good.  I only like it for the twins and Vision.  Hahaha Chief Bogo as an interp prof??  Is that a good or a bad thing?  I can see it going either way…

we do say college and well i didn’t pass every class but i’m still on track to graduate as long as i can get into a summer class to make it up and i’m so fucking happy right now like i was legit worried i wasn’t gonna make it and i was gona drop out and have to switch majors but its all working out i’ve learned a very important lesson- nothing in ever bad as i believe it is. So YAY

YOU DON’T SAY G’DAY??? i believe that even less then mateship dude. YOu tried to convince me drop bears were real!!! i can never believe you about australian things again so :P

Alfie is soooo adorable my cousin wants to know what his bear’s name is. i can’t believe the bear is still together my dogs rip everything to shreds like immediately. have you seen pics of my dogs?

chief bogo as a prof is actually the best thing ever. she doesn’t let you get away with stupidity and calls you on your shit and makes you be a better person. she recognizes where the school system has failed us and does everything to give us the best chance at success. yeah we basically all have a crush on her and since i’m the only non-hetero person in class that’s kind of an accomplishment (9 girls in my class..well 8. one just dropped yesterday).

i move back home tomorrow!! i check out at 10:30 and i’m taking straight off for home for lunch with a cousin! then i’m back at school by 4 to work. and then i work at school again the next day..but i get to sleep with my pup at night so happiness. (and i need happiness right now)

Finals in two weeks, good luck with them!!!!!!!!!  But seriously you will pass all of your classes and do excellently!  Stress a little bit, but don’t stress too much because you will be fine.  There are some times when life presses down on you, but you have to just get up and keep going.  Or at least keep crawling along the ground slowly until life cuts you a bit of slack.  :P  And plus, I’m here!  Well…  Not right here, but here via the wonders of the internet, where wonderful and amazing people (you) can talk to each other!  I have missed you quite a bit so GOOD TO SPEAK TO YOU TOO CAPANCAKES!!!!!

Hmmmm, so I am a senior now am I?  Hmmm “senior” is a bit of a strange word when I think about it, because it’s one of those words that I feel like we should spell with an “u” added over here in Not-America, but “seniour” just looks really stupid and is obviously wrong.  But anyway, yeah this last year of school is three terms rather than four as has been all previous years; instead of a term four we have a couple of weeks of school and then lots of exams that determine our ATAR, which is the ranking system here for university/college entry.  We’re just starting the second term, so there’s still a way to go but there’s already a fair chunk gone.  And I haven’t given much thought at all to what I’m doing next year, but I have a careers interview thing tomorrow actually which will hopefully help me get an idea of things to do.

WOOOO ANNIVERSARY OF FRIENDSHIP!!!!  Or as us Aussies sometimes say, mateship.  We say “mate” a lot in place of friend, but only for certain people which is quite weird.  Our country is very weird.  In the meantime, I shall be faking all of the adulthood!  I mean, I’ve been faking having “grown up” since I was about six years old…  ;)

Alfie is a Labrador cross something; nobody really knows what though because he was a rescued dog that we got from the pound.  He has half a tail though which is weird because it is natural; he hasn’t been docked.  Hehehe poor Gibson; perhaps he can sense something bad in the wood!  Or maybe he just has an irrational fear.  My lizard laid two eggs but unfortunately they didn’t hatch.  :(  On the plus side the katydids have been laying eggs though!  Honestly I just found them in my garden rather than bought them, but I could probably trick everyone because they camouflage so well that people don’t see them much.

IF I EVER BECOME A FILM MAKER OR A TV SHOW MAKER I WILL MAKE A SERIES ABOUT SOOS AND MELODY SCREW YOU ALEX HIRSCH IF YOU DON’T GIVE ME THE COPYRIGHT RIGHTS I WILL MAKE IT ANYWAY!!!! Gravity Falls by itself was still perfect though so I’m happy as it is.  Hehehehehe ReyBae I’m going to use that from now on.  :D  SkullPoopL is excellently good and you shall see it one day!  And Zootopia was actually insanely good.  Disney’s doing everything right!!!!  Clawhauser is an exact copy of my English teacher from last year though, except for the fact that he was (probably) a human.  (He was an excellent teacher though despite his human-ness)  Hmmmmm what is the Hamilton?  I’m afraid I can’t recall it.

As for the cranes, they were given away as an 18th present!  So luckily I don’t have to deal with them.  :P

CAPANCAKES I’M SO SORRY I TOOK SO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My laptop completely died on me and I had to use an old crappy one for A WHOLE TERM OF SCHOOL that wouldn’t even let me access the internet half the time LET ALONE Tumblr…  But yeah I got a new computer now and it is really good so I’M BACK!!!  It is quite a coincidence really though because I only got the new computer last week so I’m still getting used to it and moving files over from my backup and I thought to myself “OH MY GOD CAPANCAKES I HAVE NOT SAID ANYTHING TO HER FOR AGES AND AGES” and I felt really bad so I went to your blog this morning and LO AND BEHOLD there is a post about me and now I feel really bad I’m sorry but at least I have a functioning laptop now so I will hopefully be more responsive!!  But if I ever disappear again with no explanation or whatever just ask assemblemywords or ragnarok-my-world because I see you are following them and they are quite good blogs but also very nice people that I am friends with.  But yeah SORRY HEAPS AND HEAPS that doesn’t really sound sincere though because my sentences are just running onto each other and random CAPS LOCK but I promise you it is very sincere my writing style has just changed a bit because SCHOOL IS LIFE now and STRESS STRESS STRESS.

Anyway I will try to write more normally now.  I’m in year 12 now which is the last year of school for us here in Australia (do you guys have the same thing?  I don’t know).  But yeah it’s quite stressful, there’s lots of work everywhere and meetings and stuff but luckily I’m currently on holidays!  But I go back to school Tuesday so it’s really not much of a holiday any more.  Nearly finished all the holiday homework though!

And also I have no idea at all what we were talking about so HOW IS LIFE??  How is everything?  What is happening?  What have I missed??  Merry Christmas and Happy Easter because I missed both of them!  ALSO MARCH 31 HAS BEEN AND THAT WAS ONE YEAR SINCE I LEARNED HOW TO MAKE CAPANCAKES WOOOO!!!!!  Sorry I missed it but at least I went back and checked the date!

ALSO ALSO we got a puppy!!!!!!  He’s so cute!!  He’s called Alfie and he is not trained in the slightest.  He enjoys biting socks and tearing apart dry sunflower sticks, as well as digging holes to try to catch mole crickets.  Speaking of, I also got a pair of katydids!  They are like big leafy crickets; I’m pretty sure you have them in the US too.  They are quite nice but the male enjoys singing in the middle of the night which can get annoying.

ALSO ALSO ALSO GUESS WHO WATCHED ALL OF GRAVITY FALLS!!!!!!!!!!! (It’s me) (I did) That show is actually amazing and I didn’t want it to end!  They should do an “Adventures of Soos” thing, with Soos in charge of the Mystery (S)Hack.  He is my favourite character probably, but I do also like the twins.  And Wendy.  And Stan.  And Ford.  And McGucket.  AND BILL!  Okay so I love everyone, but especially Soos.

OTHER RANDOM THINGS: AAAAARGH I’M 18 IN A MONTH AND A BIT PLEASE HELP I DON’T WANT TO BE AN ADULT I do not particularly like Kylo The Moody Teen but Rey is really cool!  As is SkullPoopL! I found lots of cool new origami stuff to make wooooo!!!!  But I feel like it is taking over from school work…  :P  I actually managed to make a thousand tiny cranes in four weeks, all during class. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm………………….  Something about cake?  Maybe?  I don’t know.  I’m tired and it’s not even 11.30am yet.  Oh well.  *shrugs*  ANYWAY I NEED TO GET BACK TO MY PHYSICS WORK SO TALK TOMORROW Or today if you are up and Tumblr-ing early. i totally would have responded yesterday except i was out drinking with y cousin and her friend. well more like barely drinking. we mostly went out to play pool but people were playing it instead so we went to a karaoke bar which wasn’t much better and then we got pizzza and watched half of the mummy returns and long story slightly short I owuld have preferred talking with you. anyways  GOOD TO TALK TO YOU AGAIN MUNCHKIN!!!

i agree school is stress and life is stress and i’m only my finial two weeks and then finals and i’m not sure if i’ll still have my scholarship next year i’m freaking about about passing classes. and its just not pleasant right now. Every just feel like everything is pressing down on you? I’ve had some problems being around people lately because it just felt like a pressure on me and honestly that’s one of the best things about internet because you can talk to people who are amazing and awesome (ie you) without that feeling.

YAY ON LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL!! You’re what we yankees call a senior now. I’m sure you’re doing awesome in classes tho. Made plans for college yet or what are you just starting the school year or finishing it? googled it apparent you’re a couple months in but still have a ways to go. wow that makes way more sense them starting in the fall and finishing in spring.

PUPPY! omg i love dogs, what kind is Alfie? (and that name is adorable. is he anything like the alien?) lol my mini dachshund loooves chewing up my socks i’ve lost so many pairs. recently we pulled up the carpeting in our hallway/stairs and Gibson( my dog) is utterly terrified of the wood flooring. He paces at the bottom of the stairs and crying loudly until someone comes and saves him so he doesn’t have to be alone. unless you throw his toy (aka my socks) up the stairs then he runs right up them. Your lizard was preggo last time we talked wasn’t she? what happened with that? do you have baby lizards or did you give/sell them? and you bought little leaf bugs? i don’t think we have those near me at least. we have cicadas and crickets tho that love to ‘sing’ and hide in my bedroom.

yes GRAVITY FALLS WAS FANTASTIC i will miss that show so much and a show following soos and melody would be so adorable...i want it now so much. curse you for making me think about that! STAR WARS FORCE AWAKENS IS MY FUCKING JAM. i rewatched it again to today and ReyBae was still just as perfect as was Finn the smol child. they are both perfection and i adore them. (the ‘ferocious’ Kylo Ren and go jump in a hole for all i care). haven’t gotten to see Skullpoopl yet but i really want to. when me and my friends went it was sold out and i haven’t gotten another chance yet. i have seen Zootopia tho and like many other things i adore it. Judy Hoops is the best anthropomorphic bunny to ever grace the big screen. Have you gotten to listen to hamilton yet? oh wait.. I guess you’re not american so it might not interest you as much....its still fantastic tho.

So i was gonna reply yesterday but something was happening this morning that i wanted to write about. soo here goes: My college has chapel services on Mon, Wed, Fri, that is required and for my interpreting class we get the opportunity to go up on stage. For Intrep I we do announcements and like 2 songs and interp II and on we do the message.whole thing. so today was my first time interpreting in front of a bunch of people!!! thankfully it Children of the World was performing today so everyone was watching them not me but it was still a lot of fun. Unfortunately we had a bunch of videos at the beginning so i kept going back and forth between the two spot lights to sign. i totally jinxed myself before go on i said “as long as no one talks about snuggies or arcade games i’ll be fine!” they talked about WWE instead….LIKE SERIOUSLY? and then there was a video we’re people rose up out of the water and it was just weird

Ooh I feel sorry for your dog.  He should learn from his mistakes though, despite being a moron.  Little geckos would be the cutest things in the world though.  :D  Oh yes, the tunnels, definitely.

Yes the leadership spill thing was an eventful event but we are used to it.  Luckily, none of them won.  Tony was pushed out in favo(u)r of a guy called Malcolm, who is only slightly better than those three and not as funny, so I don’t have anything stupid to show you.

(Hmmm well MAYBE a few men in kilts could be good for you then…  Your roommates are strange though.  I hope they know that.  Hear that, you’re all strange!! :P )

Now…  Time for the Aussie Birthday Traditions!!  Ummmm…  First off, time to give you an Aussie name!  Hmmmm…  Megz.  And/or Cappa.  Those are good bogan names.  I have a friend called Cappa actually.  Next!  Well unfortunately we can’t actually do this one because you’re not here, but we would send you out into the desert with a pointy stick.  You have to go catch yourself a large snake to bring back, or a drop bear if you can find one.  Having proved that you are worthy to survive in the land of death for another year (If you fail you are either sent to hospital or to New Zealand, which is like our little baby cousin who likes sheep who we don’t want to be related to but have to put up with), and then we have some cake.  Generally chocolate, but possibly with sprinkles on top if you are lucky.  After that, we go to the “footy”, also known in some countries as “gladiatorial battles to the death”, except that there is a ball involved somewhere.  We will give you a big blow-up hand thing with a pointy finger, which you attach spikes to and throw at the “players”.  The game ends when either a) one team gives up due to injuries/deaths or b) the siren sounds, signalling a truce between the warring factions.  After this we go to the pub for beers, not that I ever drink alcohol.  So we will probably just sit there and talk about the death match we just saw.  Oh wait!  I forgot!  If you’re lucky and your team wins, they might let you keep one of the decapitated body parts left over from the game!  (My uncle’s in the business so I could pull some strings for you).  So with your winnings and beer and pointy stick, you would go home and rest, ready to survive for another year.  That is the Aussie tradition, Megz.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

so tattoo story!! my roomie has a tattooo and she got it at this parlor near by and apparently they’re super famous and what not. they were really nice when she was there and they got her right in when she went to make an appointment. so on tuesday we (i wanted someone to go go along so i wouldn’t make a complete idiot of myself) went to Wicked Ways at like 8 in the morning cuz thats when they open (at least so google said). its about a half hour drive and we get there drive around front and THEY’RE CLOSED. apparently their real hours are noon-8 not 8-5 but hey wHATEVER. So yeah come back to campus, roomie falls asleep and at noon she’s still like passed out so my other roommate says she’ll go. We drive out there (Wicked is open) walk in and the people are kinda asses to us. they make stupid faces and say it’ll take 3 1/2 hours to do the tattoo. (which cost like $400). i tell them i’ll call and make an appointment later is i decide i want it. slightly pissed i tell spence we’re gonna go over to Marvel (a different parlor i had been planning to go to until i was told about Wicked Ways). get to marvel no one makes stupid face and they say it’ll be 1-1 1/2 max. i instantly make an appointment. fast forward to friday-- ALL OF MY FRIENDS HAVE WORK OR CLASS OR (one has a)  HAIR APPOINTMENT. I end up going alone. yay. it takes an extra half hour before we start cuz apparently the way i wanted it wouldn’t work out so the artist pointed out why and i was like oh yeah thats stupid your way sounded cool tho lets do that. i end up laying there for an hour and twenty minuted before my cousin gets off work and shows up for the last 5 minutes. also warning do not get a rib tattoo my ENTIRE RIB CAGE WAS BOUNCING/VIBRATING.i thought i was gonna rip my hair out i was grabbing it so hard. on the the other hand  the non rib areas were totally fine and now i kind want another tattoo. but yeah i’m super happy with it ^^ yeah then after that i went with cousin, brothers, brother’s girlfriend to a movie and out for drinks. drinks were bleh. no intention of doing that again. i drank something that smelled like fingernail remover and tasted like cough syrup yick.

YAY FOR THE LESS STUPID WINNING! (Also pray for us right now Trump has a distrubing number of votes in polls and its scary. he has to many stupid things to list about him. just know he’s an ass)

hahaha Australian birthdays sound like a wonderful time, now the body parts do you get them signed and frame them or do something else horrif-i mean awesome with them. all we did for my birthday was light a Dorito on fire and attempt the same with chalk, which is surprisingly nonflammable. i was very upset with that. ok i guess that wasn’t the ONLY things but the only important stuff anyways.hmmm Megz.....I’m not normally a fan of any shortening of Megan but i like the ‘z’ :D
