[Below Cut: Astrology For Fun – Sites To Get Interpretations ] 

I usually use astrology sites for fun/looking into myself and seeing other people’s interpretation of me, so the ones I can recommend are kind of like…. text-based heavy/not really the best for learning how to read other people’s chart if that’s ok?? 💕

Before we get started: I also have an ‘astrology help’ section at the bottom of my masterlist that has a few links to other sites for specific things if that helps?? 

I think I did an ask a while back on astrology resources that might help reading other’s chart so here’s that answer:

As for like, for fun/reading yourself kind of deal (the text based heavy stuff):

I really like chaosastrology because of the details/the way they write. 

Astro-charts is also nice for it’s formats/clean and simple to use.

Grupovenus is an international (i think it’s europe based) site that has pretty good resources as well.

Most of these have limited access/range unless you pay for it’s full service. I like to experiment so I’ve already paid for the reading/services and if anyone’s looking to do so I can say that it’s worth it (especially grupovenus and chaosastrology) since you can use it multiple times (throughout the year).

(Not really for astro-charts: appreciate the amount of pages in the reading yet it’s pretty vague– one aspect for each page which is really nice, but otherwise it’s a one-time purchase).

if you’re looking for something a little more ~sensational~ try MichelleKnight free reading, they email you the reading so you can keep it with you. I really enjoyed it when I first started and it’s really fun to do!!

If you’re looking for paid reading specifically I recommend Etsy especially the readings that are on sale. I have a great time (whenever I have money) purchasing $10~25 readings from others and we have great conservations as well! 💕 

Honestly most of the people on there are really really great and the ones I’ve interacted with are genuinely just great people. They’re also usually very comfortable with clarifying stuff, I really recommend people test it out/try it if they have some time/money! 💕 

That’s all I have for now? 💕 I don’t usually have time to use sites anymore but when I do those are my go-tos, plus if anything needs explaining I usually just go to bloggers/reference sites. In my chart my 6th house is empty but when i look at the houses it says Gemini is there. Is it because Mercury rules 6th? This means my house is not só important in my life?

Hey Jess! 💕 I think you’re probably talking about house rulership right? From horoscopeyourself? 

[Below Cut: Brief Guide to House Rulers/Empty Houses] 

House rulership is a bit complicated, cause you can have an empty house but it can be influenced by the ruling sign/planet that’s in another house/sign. When you’re looking at your chart, try to see how your Sun (maybe you have a natal in Capricorn) and where the Sun ruler (Leo) rules what house. If there’s a planetary body in that house, it’s getting influenced by the Sun’s influence/rulership as well. Just think of it as like, following the trail kind of deal. You follow the rabbit and see how it’s skipping across with one another. 

Also keep in mind, that traditional astrology usually doesn’t have Uranus/Neptune/Pluto. So rulership wise, take into account the diurnal/nocturnal sides of the signs, as well as the significance/importance of planets like the Moon, Saturn and Mars (Mercury/Venus low-key) as well.

As to answer your question about Mercury, Mercury is important. Since your empty 6th House is being affected by Mercury, the traits/behaviour of your natal Mercury (it’s signs/placement) is influencing the effect of what you do with your 6th House as well (think more of it as embodying the sign ruling over the house than the actual planetary body).

Think of all your houses as being always full. You yourself embody all the signs, so it makes no sense to think of yourself as lacking when the signs are in your houses (all 12 in the chart). Planetary bodies are just the people living in it. Your houses are always decorated (differently from each other) Sometimes it’s occupied but sometimes it’s not. That doesn’t mean that it’s not a space that has no behaviour/attribute to the space. It just means the characters/narratives are usually focused on for plot progression (bodies) than the actual setting/background of the scene (houses/influenced houses). 

It’s a little bit, hmm, hard to think about because we’re so used to looking at things linearly. But if you take the time to follow the trail, it should work out for you 💕

UGH i love a -- a--- an empath?? psychic?? clair..one of the thing?? 💕💕 Honestly it Might Be Just Yoongi but I have a feeling it's his Pisces/Virgo and Cancer acting up?? 💕 There's a lot of intuition in those placements, especially when it comes to sensing and channeling, things can usually 'attract/manifest' from water sign's receptivity to their environments/people/socially 💕 So this is a very nice flex for all the water placements/people out there! 💕

I went to horoscope yourself and my dominant signs are different from astro. But its OK. The interpretations are good. But i want to know what "VX" is, and what does "Talent Triangle with Neptune in apex" means.. Is it a grand trine? I cant find the interpretation.

dkjsnkfns horoscope yourself gives A LOT of information and maybe some of the details hits really deep. But the main meat of the site (sometimes) makes sense if you look at it from a distance like an impressionist painting. As in, a lot of squinting and reading everything through, before drawing an overall conclusion for yourself bc it’s pretty whack (in a good, intense way ig dkfnsk)

That’s my disclaimer for the site. But to answer your question Jess  💕 VX is referring to the vertex on your chart. Think of it as a gateway for significant moments in your life/your third angle in your chart. It’s relieving to see a different interpretation for dominant signs/planets mostly because it’s supposed to differ from system to system. Not one system for dominants are completely accurate so I’m glad we’re getting more options out of this at least!

Talent triangle refers to an aspect pattern that may indicate an area in your life you can excel at (exerting self externally/not about the core person but rather like a behavioral trait), notice your 2 trines (120′) and 1 sextiles (60′ --or vice versa) in your chart– that’s where the ‘talent’ should be if you notice it. Looking at context of what planet/houses it’s in would help with deciphering what it is you’re talented at (like the ‘how’). Apex is the point, it should be referring to where the energy is pointed/directed at. In this case, it’s in Neptune. Think of it as an equation, the hardest part would be deciphering the trines/‘how’ themselves, before contextualizing it with the Neptune. I hope this helps! 💕

How could i predict next week in astrology? Im going to send my curriculum and i want to know if theres anything i can know about next week. Is it transits?

Aaaah a couple of different ways! 💕The first thing that comes to mind is that If you have a specific question it might be a good idea to apply horary astrology to it (*note: it takes time to study but since we’re always working on studying astrology anyways, might as well try learning new things?)

[Below Cut: Intro and References into Horary Astrology + Predictive Astrology]

First off: sorry for the links galore! (I hope tumblr doesn’t delete my account sdkjfn)

If we’re starting completely new/fresh like ‘what is it?’ new, here’s a good basic introduction that modern astrologer can get behind for once (that isn’t pretentious/elitist god some people are unbelievable). Here’s also  a great ‘how-to’ from eighthousesun. And here’s an example step-by-step from divinetimeastrology. If you’re willing to go a little snobby, here’s a “notes” kind of thing (*but view with ur own discretion, some astrologer says you can ask multiple questions focusing in a certain subject at one time, and other says you can’t.) – And if you want some reference/terms/study further that ones from astrology.org.ua

You can cast a horary chart (traditionally) by using the date/time and place (*refer to links above on the ‘reference’) of when you cast the question–kind of like a birth-chart. This way, you can read the manifestation of when it’s going to happen (usually when you cast it for someone else, you might have to take into consideration the time-frame in which the answer is going to come.) 

Since horary astrology is a type of predictive astrology, there are traditional western reading and other ones as well (nadi astrology is another type that uses predictive/horary casting for example). You can try some useful help about traditional horary astrology here (kind of helpful, view with your own discretion but the “faqs” are better than the one linked in the above paragraph)

If you don’t have time to do all that (I know, it’s a lot) Transit will probably serve you the best considering the time frame. But progressed chart can also be beneficial to how it affects you (compared to transit that can be general). If you want to know more about progressed chart, here’s a good link. 

Also: keep in mind that although horary astrology has been here for so long, modern astrology is about taking alot of traditional ideas for a spin in a lot of different experimental ways (can be good or bad depending). Adaption/change on how to use horary astrology in a way that might be more applicable to modern-day culture/usage/current pace might come through. So just– keep that in mind.  Especially since traditional astrology takes years upon years to study, adapting to modern change will help with ‘quick-fix’ kind of deal but won’t have the depth traditional astrology has. For the modern day person, it might come in handy to just plan ahead of time/set aside some time in advance.

*Further research on horary might be necessary, because it’s absolutely ancient a lot of astrologer has a lot of different opinions on how to do it properly (you might want to cast it using vedic astrology etc.) so you might need to do the necessary study while casting it. 

**ALSO: with any kind of astrology just be careful of what you’re doing and what you want to know ok. Use your own discretion for the sake of yourself. 

***You know what’s popular and just might be a good alternative if you REALLY don’t have time to learn something new in advance/gotta dash fast? Tarots. Just. Think practical.
