Eddie Munson was in love. Working at Wintson’s Records was his first love. Sure there was a lotta dealing with the plastic top 40 masses but he got to spend every day surrounded by music and talking about practically nothing else. His second love was Billy Hargrove. Billy Hargrove was just about the hottest guy in Hawkins and every music choice he made had Eddie wanting to kiss him on the mouth.

Billy and him had only a kind of passing crossover in high school, Billy had moved to Hawkins in Eddie’s (second and blessedly final) senior year in the grade below him and they didn’t run in the same circles. He’d really only known that Billy was popular, his ass did not quite, he was kind of a slut, and his car radio was always blaring immaculate tunes. Seeing as he hung out with motherfuckers like Tommy Hagan Eddie had been content to just admire his form from a far.

Rules

Rule 1:

No hate speech against anyone’s sexuality (this includes asexuality and bisexuality!), gender, creed, ethnicity, religion, or identity. If your content has any of this because it fits the time period or a character’s portrayal (For Example: Niel, Tommy, etc.), check with a mod to make sure it’s okay.

Rule 2:

 You must be over 18+ in order to sign up for this event.

Rule 3:

While most forms of Dead Dove content are accepted, we will never permit mentions of pedophilia or the sexual abuse of children at all within this event or any channels of this server. For clarification, this means that non-consensual themes for any character under the age of 18 are strictly forbidden. It also means that any mentions of abuse to children - anyone under the age of 18 - cannot have any sexual undertones or be sexual in nature.

Rule 4:

Types of Fanworks we will accept as a fill:

Fan Fic - Minimum of 300 Words Art - Minimum of 300 x 300 pixels if digital, 3 inches x 3 inches if traditional Fan Vids - Minimum of 1 Minute Moodboards - Minimum of 4 Images Playlist - Must have a minimum listening time of thirty minutes, including cover art. Rec lists - Minimum of Three fanworks, with an explanation for each, detailing why you’re reccing them. Tell us why you love it. Now’s your chance to gush! Podfics - Must be at least 1 minute long and the author of the original work must give their consent as well as be aware you will be using the podfic for this event.

Rule 5:

All fills must be centered around Billy. You can create works for ships or for him individually.

Example 1:

I am only a Harringrove shipper so I complete all my fills using only the Harringrove ship.

Example 2:

I do not ship Billy with another Stranger Things character, so I complete all my fills using only Billy.

Example 3:

I am only a Mungrove shipper so I complete all my fills using only the Mungrove ship.

Example 4:

I ship Billy with multiple characters - Steve, Eddie, and Jonathan, so I do a combination of all. Maybe I do 1 Harringrove square, 3 Jonbill/Byergrove squares, 3 Billy-centric/no ship squares, and 2 Mungrove squares.

These are all acceptable ways to fill your card.
