Okay so, I've been pondering. In the 1996 movie Kingpin, Woody Harrelson's character is named Roy Munson. As the movie progresses, terms like getting "Munsoned" and being "a real Munson" become derogatory terms because of his bad luck. It really got me thinking of Roy being Wayne's cousin, the one with a prosthetic rubber hand. Young Eddie used to beg him to take the hand off and let him hold it, he was so fascinated by it. (Wayne has been raising Eddie since he was 7 or 8.) Eddie's bio dad Al is the reason Roy lost his hand in the first place, so there is more bad blood there. He told Eddie all of his bowling war stories, and he probably crashed at the trailer a few times on his way through. Usually asks to borrow a large sum of money, but Wayne won't fall for that again. (He will give him a couple bucks though because Wayne is Wayne and Roy is family.) I like to imagine Eddie going on a road trip with him. Maybe the van breaks down, and Eddie needs a ride somewhere in the direction Roy is headed. Maybe Eddie is a really good bowler?? Anyway, this has been tickling at my brain.

“MUNSONED”
