Eh, good question. I started playing as Dean a while ago on a different forum but dropped him when I joined tumblr in favor of group roleplays. I picked him back up with the expectation that I'd probably play him for a couple of weeks, no one would like him and I'd disappear back into the aether. I think, the only concrete plan that I had with Dean was more of an aspiration. I wanted to take his character and infuse a hell of a lot of realism into him and what he faced and how that could psychologically (excuse the term) fuck him up. SPN is a great show but it airs for an hour a week and the mundane day to day activities (or not so mundane as is stress/grief/trauma) often get glossed over. I wanted to delve into his character and see what made him tick and what would happen if, time permitting, I'd be able to give the character more time to look inwards and also deal with what's going on, give a more 'this is how life is' - sort of thing. I always felt that Dean's character was the human answer to the supernatural, this is what happens when a human, with no outstanding abilities, has to go against shit that no one believes in - this is how he'd cope. That's still my goal and that's still how I try to direct his character. Not sure how well i'm doing, but I try. xD
