Summary: Kermit was being stressed due to rehearsals for having too much chaos from the other muppets during rehearsals but it was Miss Piggy who noticed him in this state!

There was a chaotic scene in the Muppet Theater! From Gonzo attempting to do a crazy antic to Animal loudly banging on his drums and even bad jokes told by Fozzie!
Amongst all of the chaos, Kermit the Frog was having a hard time trying to get everything together but it was too much!
"Guys! Can't we please get this together!" he yelled but no one listened!
Kermit sighed as he head backstage and that's when Miss Piggy begin to notice him!
"Kermie! You okay? You better not be hiding something from moi?" she said as she sat him down on a stool!
"It's... It's just all of the chaotic stuff that's happening!" he said! "I don't know how to handle all of this!"
"Oh Kermie! I know how you feel! Here, let me cheer you up!" she said as she gave him a kiss on neck!
"H-Hehe! P-Pihihiggy! Thahahat tihihihickles!" Kermit squirmed slightly to the tingling kiss that she gave him!
"Oh yeah! Let's see how you like that!" she smirked as she begin to tickle his sides!
"HEHEHEY! PIHIHIGGY! STAHAHAHAP THAHAHAT!" Kermit squealed with laughter as Piggy continued her assault!
Piggy wasn't listening as she continued to tickle him and eventually went all over his torso making the frog squeal louder!
"PIHIHIGGY! PLEHEHEHEASE! I CAHAHAN'T BREHEHEATHE!" Kermit shouted through his laughter!
"Y'know Kermie! You're really cute when you squeal like that!" she said as she stopped tickling him!
"Whew! Thanks Piggy! Guess I deserved that!" Kermit said as he scratched the back of his head!
Kermit was finally calm and went back out there and was ready to calm the other muppets down!

Since I’ve been getting a lot of questions about them (and by a lot, I mean four), I decided to compile a list of my old muppet fics that I’m really embarrassed over now.
Pretty much all these fics were written when I was in high school and have since been deleted but I think (?) you can still find the Breakfast Club one through the Wayback Machine.
So, without further ado, here’s Ai’s Greatest Cheesiest Hits:
Don’t You Forget About Me: So this one was made back in 2008 and it was essentially a parody (eh) of The Breakfast Club. Originally, the cast was going to be Kermit as Bender (???), Piggy as Claire, Gonzo as Andrew, Camilla as Allison, and Fozzie as Brian but then I noticed there weren’t too many fics starring the band so I changed it to Floyd, Janice, Teeth, Zoot, and Scooter who, now that I think about it, was a probably a better choice for Brian.
There’s not too much to say about this one, other than it was a basic script fic with some changes from the original movie to make it more PG and Piggy who would show every so often because she was furious over not getting the part of Claire and would hijack the fic with her antics. Yeah. My handling of Piggy’s character was...not great back then, that was before I grew to love and appreciate her. Also Sam was the principal which was the only casting I can still say I'm proud of.
Long Way to the Top: Also written in 2008, my since abandoned oc Aurie (short for Aurelie because I was taking French at the time and thought it was a neat name), a tambourine player and obvious fangirl, auditions for the band and catches the eye of all the dudes (except Floyd) and…I'm kinda blanking on this one? I know it was pretty much your standard wish fulfillment fic and I think she got kidnapped near the end and the crew had to go out and save her from some evil record producer guy. Yeah. I don’t have too much else to say about it.
All Sewn Up: Another 2008 fic, this one actually kinda brings back good memories. It was a journal written from Zoot’s perspective with some random observations and behind the scenes shenanigans and it was set during the first season of The Muppet Show. I can remember watching the Joel Grey episode on youtube while working on the fic and trying to capture what Zoot’s voice was like back then. There were a couple entries about his relationship with Janice and he probably sounded more like a dorky teenager than a burned out sax player but aside from that, it was pretty in-character but short-lived. Only about five or six entries.
Coming of the Roads: The first of the giant fics, set during modern times (modern being 2009), and it centers on the band going on a tour around the states and they end up in a town that’s half Stepford, half the slums. While there, they find an abandoned baby and take her in and name her Melody (yes, I was that unoriginal). Eventually, they go to the town hall and try to explain the situation but they get dismissed because it’s run by idiots so they call the rest of the muppet gang to help them and fix up the place through shows and montages and all that good stuff.
On the surface, the story seemed to have potential but unfortunately, it was weighed down by a lot of soap opera drama and corny moments. There was one subplot where Janice was struggling between her feelings for Floyd and Teeth (bear in mind, this was long before the series was a thing) and there was a super ooc scene where Janice and Teeth shared a kiss and Floyd got all pissed and stormed off stage. (Spoilers: It was just a heat of the moment thing and it got resolved within a couple chapters.)
There was another subplot where Lips was struggling to figure out his own feelings for Zoot and every time he tried to ask what their relationship status was, Zoot would be like “I dunno, man” until near the end where they got attacked by some townspeople for trying to change things and they spent the night bandaging each other up and Zoot was all: “Yeah, um, I like you.” I was going to have Lips kiss Zoot on the cheek but I got told off by an admin that it wasn’t “appropriate” so it ended with a “just buddies being pals” hug. :I
The last subplot was about Teeth and his father-daughter relationship with Melody and there were some flashbacks to his childhood and how he spent time between various foster homes and the streets and was able to rise up and become a rock legend. Then there was a subplot within that subplot that focused on his relationship with another old oc Joelle, who was a bit of an Esmeralda knockoff, and made her living as a street performer. Basically, they were childhood sweethearts but lost track of each other for some reason or another and they reunited near the end of the second act. Looking back, Jo wasn’t as poorly written as Aurie but then again, she didn’t have a whole lot to do besides fill the long-lost girlfriend role, hang out with Janice, and occasionally make snarky comments. Plus, I love how Lips kissing Zoot on the cheek was considered “inappropriate” but a heavily implied sex scene with her and Teeth didn’t raise any eyebrows.
Honestly, besides the elements I already addressed, I think the part where I really missed the mark was the ending. Practically everything was resolved by way of plot conveniences. The town got a new mayor. Jo became the new tambourine player. Melody was adopted by the band but also by Jenny and Ronnie from MTM. Yeah, remember them? They were part of the fic too. I'm not sure why but I guess the story needed human characters? I...I don't know, man.
Hit the Lights: Oh boy, this one’s a doozy. It takes place almost immediately after Coming of the Roads (early 2010) and the band are being stalked by this TMZ-esque journalist because...yeah, because. Let’s go with that. After cornering Zoot, asking a bunch of super personal questions, and failing to get any answers, TMZ dude starts to trash him in reviews and such and makes a big deal over his shyness. In short, this character is pretty much the worst and he winds up getting murdered in the second chapter. Since Zoot was the target of his criticism and was close to the scene of the crime, he ends up being the primary suspect. Much of the fic is focused on the gang trying to clear his name as well as flashbacks to his childhood, his relationship/s with the band, etc.
So yeah, there’s a few elements that were recycled from the previous fic, such as the flashbacks, Zoot’s relationship with his family, another long-lost girlfriend (only she was the victim of an unsolved murder as well) and a reunion between him and their daughter near the end. Again, the biggest problem with the fic was it was played really straight and soap opera-ish and there was little room for muppety antics. There were like, paragraphs upon paragraphs of Zoot lamenting about the past and it got to be draining after a while. I love exploring lesser-known characters and it wasn’t the first time I tackled Zoot but unlike the journal fic, which was pretty lighthearted and didn’t take itself too seriously, this was like...an abundance of angst. Angst overload, I tell ya. Clover (his daughter) was probably the least embarrassing of my ocs but she didn’t have much of presence in the fic until the end.
So there you have it, my muppet fics from back in the day.
I'm trying to think of something else to say other than, “It tried way too hard to be sad and ended up being corny and exhausting.” I did try to incorporate more of Zoot and Lips’ relationship but again, because of the forum’s weak ass policy, they could only hug or hold hands and the fluff took a backseat to the drama. I was going through some stuff at the time and I think a lot of that was evident in my writing. I even based the journalist guy after somebody who was bullying me and when I reflect on it nowadays, it’s pretty painful. I went through a three year gap when I kinda forgot about the fic and then one day, just reread the whole thing in one sitting and was like, “Yeahhh, this needs to go...”
Summary: Fozzie is feeling down lately as Coco noticed him in this state, she decided to cheer him up!

It was a brightly evening in the Muppet Theater! All of the muppets were in high spirits all except for Fozzie Bear!
He was in his own dressing room all alone by himself after a long day of telling bad corny jokes which Statler & Waldorf heckled at (of course)!
Meanwhile, Coco Raccoon, his artistic girlfriend was in a middle of her paintings, sketches, and drawings! She was very good at making landscapes, portraits, pictures, scenery, backdrops, landmarks, and backgrounds! She was even into literature and illustration!
She then finally saw him sitting alone feeling lonely as she approached him! "Fozzie, are you okay?" she asked!
Fozzie then looked up to her with his sad eyes! "Oh hey! Coco! It's just my jokes! Sometimes they just think that they're aren't funny y'know!" he said while looking down!
Coco then sat beside him and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder! "I understand, Fozzie! But you're not alone in this! You never are!" she said calmly!
"Why thanks, Coco! I really appreciate that!" Fozzie said!
Without him warning, Coco gave him his belly a poke causing him yelped while she giggle slightly!
"H-Hey! C-Coco! What was that for?" Fozzie said as he rubbed his belly a little bit!
Coco then smiled mischievously as she pounced on him! "Hehe! You deserve some comfortive appreciation you jokester bear!" she teased as she begin scribbling her fingers all over his belly!
"C-Cohohoco! C-Cuhuhut ihihit ohohout!" Fozzie laughed as he squirmed to get away but Coco was relentless!
Coco then focused on his ribs as her fingers skittered just below his ribcage! "Aww! Come on! I need to see my precious bear to have a big smile on his face!" she teased as she giggle evilly!
Fozzie tried to push her off but it was no use! "COHOHOCO! STAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIT! I'M SMIHIHILING! OKAHAHAY!" he laughed uncontrollably!
"Sorry! I can't hear you from all of this laughter!" Coco teased as she continued to tease his sides, ribs, and belly including his ribcage!
"PLEHEHEHEASE! NOHOHOT THE RIHIHIBS! COHOHOCO! THAHAHAT'S ENOHOHOUGH!" Fozzie pleaded through his laughter!
Coco finally thought it was time to stop! She then get up and gave him her hand and helped him up!
"Are you feeling better now, Foz?" she asked as she crossed her arms!
Fozzie then looked at her and gave a small soft smile! "Yeah! I am feeling better! Thank you so much!" he said!
Coco then smiled happily "Well! That was one day to cheer up a comedian!" she said!
And with that, they both spend the rest of the night talking about both comedic jokes and creative art!

"Okay Gary, you can do this!" Gary said to himself! He was about to get ready to go out on a date with Mary! He was trying to get himself so proper! Meanwhile, Walter was nothing what's going on!
"Hey Gary!" Walter said! "Getting ready?"
Gary turned away from the mirror and saw his muppet brother standing out of the door!
"Oh Walter! What brings you here?", he said while adjusting his bowtie!
"Well, I was wondering if I could help you adjusting yourself to make yourself more proper!"
Gary thought for a moment and finally accepted! "Sure, why not! But don't make myself TOO proper!", he said!
As Walter begin to adjust Gary's bowtie, Gary begin to giggle and squirm a bit as Walter begin to his reactions!
"Uh Gary? You're alright? You're acting a bit strange!", he said!
"I-I'm fihihine!", Gary responded! "J-Juhuhust a lihihittle bihihit f-fihihidgety!"
Walter then had a mischievous look on his face and begin to scribble his fingers all over the back of Gary's neck!
"AHAHAHA WAHAHAHALTER?! WHAHAHAT ARE YOHOHOHOU DOHOHOING?!", Gary said while squealing with laughter!
"Oh! I thought you needed a little bit laughter before your date!", Walter said while he went straight for his sides and ribs!
"WAHAHAHALTER STAHAHAHAP! THIHIHIS NOHOHOT WHAHAHAT I MEHEHEANT TO BE MOHOHORE PROHOHOPPER!", Gary squealed and laughed hysterically as he tried to push Walter!
Finally, Walter stopped his relentless tickling! "Okay! I'll let you continue getting ready now!"
And with that, Gary waved goodbye to Walter and head out on his date with Mary!

Contains Original Character, AU, mentions of death, prejudice and unrequited feelings. Also Staler and Waldorf heckling the story, as they do.

Tribute fic to Muppeteer Richard Hunt. In this ‘verse, when a Muppeteer passes away, their Muppets lose their voices. When Hunt dies, Scooter, Janice, Beaker, Staler and Sweetums grieve the loss of their old friend while adjusting to being mute, the first of many changes. Contains mention of death, grieving and lots of sad feels.
