Where do Orcs go when they die?

Okay, so in one playthrough, I accidentally got Murbul (the wise woman of Dushnikh Yal) killed by spawning a dragon at lv 1. But no matter, I hit resurrect straight away- all better!

Except it wasn’t. I went to try and buy potions and... I couldn’t. She wasn’t there. She had gone... to the place Orcs go when they die.

The whole place is bathed in a bizarre green/purple glow. It’s just a small cross-shaped room in Nowhere- if you try and walk out of the archways at each arm of the cross, you respawn back in the centre.

Maps indicate that it is somewhere in Dushnikh Yal. You might be able to pick out two small rectangles on the local map. Any guesses?

Coffins! Murbul’s has all her stuff in- despite the fact she is apparently alive and well (because I resurrected her). The other coffin is empty- for now.

Oh, and Malborn is here.

Aaaand he’s naked. Malborn is here, and naked. Presumably he waits here until he becomes plot relevant. Then gets dressed.

And that’s it. Maybe it’s the Ashpit. Maybe it’s a cell I wasn’t ever supposed to see. But that’s where Orcs go when they die.
