The female spirit couldn’t help but the give off a slight smirk at her master. She knew exactly how much he treasured rules. “One told me, rules are there to be broken. Apparently it rises as feeling of adrenaline.” She spoke as she was quite curious of what was behind the door. Murciélago wasn’t authorized to enter that specific room, since it wasn’t of her concern what actually happened behind the scenes. She had always kept herself to the rules, yet this time she wanted to go beyond that point, simply to see if the sayings were true.
“Aren’t you curious about the secrets that lay ahead of us? Never had the urge to find out, where our journey would lead us?” Murciélago was actually showing interest in their future, and she thought this was the only way to figure that out.
“Nothing is meant to be broken,” Ulquiorra spoke coldly, his voice ruled by its usual cold and unwavering tone despite talking to his Zanpakuto, quite literally a part of his soul. The fact that he couldn’t lose the composure around her, at least on normal occasions, would have probably been sad if he had any understanding of that word. “especially not the rules.”
“Adrenaline?” He repeated after her, as though hearing the word for the first time, testing it to see if it should be put away with other words he considers pointless, such as love, hate, fun, happiness, anger, feelings. “Adrenaline is for humans and fools like Grimmjow.”
When asked whether he was curios he merely closed his eyes for a second and put his hands behind his back.. “My curiosity is nothing compared to what Aizen-sama says. We do not break the rules, Murcielago, we do no disobey the orders.”
