Tired of her charades, she carelessly dropped them, "Say, Mr. Sebastian...what would you do if I said I wanted to kill you?" Her voice also dropped; she sounded like that of a thiry year old woman. It carried a sense of annoyance and apatheticness as if she were bored talking to the butler. Either way, it was not approriate for a lady of her young age.
Sebastian nearly laughed in her face. His expression didn't betray it (except for a very subtle twitch in his eye), but if he'd been a lesser butler, he would have simply laughed, picked her up by that lovely hair of hers, and tossed her out by it. A threat to the Phantomhive butler was a threat to the Phantomhive estate, because Ciel owned every part of him. He was a piece of property belonging solely to his master, and the idea of a woman of all things (how hilarious) trying to disturb that was, ah...
If only the Undertaker had been here, he might have appreciated this humor.
His face betrayed none of this internal amusement, and he remained straight backed, watching her.
"I suppose I would ask why you would say such a thing, My Lady."
