so uh, how did melvin react to mundie coming back?

Well. We'd been talking about something -- I don't recall just what, but... You see... Melvin is. Part of the Toon Resistance. He's never been to the other HQs besides Bossbot, but he's... gotten up in ranks. He'd done a string of CEO battles as some sort of... celebration? For finishing the case he'd gone on a business trip for.

I did not know this. And... He doesn't necessarily HATE the Cogs, but he has an itchy button paw. We'd been catching up and Velma was just... so happy to call me her mama, I'd lost track of time but I knew Melvin was going to be home around noon.

Before we knew it, there was a live... Cog Battle... in the living room...
