an almost 2-year belated art trade piece, whoops. @jessmindspace, you are amazing (i am so sorry for the abominably long delay) and you must know that your characters compel me so. Have a very merry magical Muriel for your Monday, ma’am <3

TBT of Muriel during her Villainess Phase 💅
Back after Muriel's family was killed by the rival sorcerer family, she went to a dark place since she felt if she had been there, she could have helped to save her family from being slaughtered. Instead, now she's stuck with immortality that she can't reverse, and is essentially all alone in the world.
She's mired in depression for a bit before deciding to take advantage of her immortality by subjugating others and rebuilding her family's kingdom. The power goes to her head, however, and she becomes more of a dictator towards the people under her, taking out her anger and frustration on her subjects and those who had turned on her family and supported the evil sorcerers. She never killed anyone, but I wouldn't put it past her to mess them up psychologically by meddling with their heads before Someone came along to course correct her…

my part of our inktober trade ( ^-^)ノ∠※。.:*:・'°☆
The magic lady herself Muriel Traxton, wanted to try my hand at magic summoning in ink form ♡
Some sketches!
Shoutout to my friend, Gabi, for sending me that pic I used as ref for Duncan 😂 His future daughter got him the matching slippers and phone case for Father’s Day and he had to grin and bear it lol
Maddie tends to go overboard when she shows off her powers to her peers. She gives her parents oh so many headaches 🙃
Throwback to Blair and Aaron, back when they were a pair of happy villains (and Aaron was alive)!
I forgot I had this sketch of Muriel tucked away on procreate, but it’s SO her in the future events of Parallels 😅😅
I got this idea in early September and was DETERMINED to see it through! Being British, the Traxtons don't typically celebrate Thanksgiving, but they have a lot of American friends, so they hold a dinner as an excuse for them all to come hang out for a day. This particular Thanksgiving takes place a few months after Muriel finds out she's pregnant with the first (yes, FIRST) set of triplets, so she wants to do a big, pull-out-the-stops special meal that year where most of the guests don't even know she's pregnant yet.
Unfortunately, the carving knife went missing (Traxton probably used it on a hunting trip), and he isn't above using Excalibur to carve the Thanksgiving turkey, seeing Muriel loaned it out to him so often back when they were courting. Muriel did NOT expect him to come out with her brother's heirloom sword and completely disrupt the mood she'd set for the dinner. Don't worry, they'll laugh about it later and she'll forgive him after fuming for a few hours LOL
I snuck in as many characters connected to the Traxtons as possible! L - R:
Sora, the lab rat child they adopt, Neassa and Nolan Knight, Muriel's adoptive parents | Agent Kala Lani, Traxton's junior agent at Jade's Hall, Lukas Walden AKA Javelin, another Jade's Hall agent who becomes friends with Traxton (against Traxton's wishes at first, but the guy grows on people).
Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!
1860s Muriel, because I’ve got the Victorian Era on the mind! She’d still wear her signature purple even back then, and chose to style her hair a little less conservatively since her curls have been hard to manage anyways (and she wanted to loosen up after having to tie her hair back a decade earlier lol)
I wanted to give her portrait an old feel with the shading and highlights, hence the more scratchy brushwork. Traxton is up next!
1820s Traxiel from earlier this year! This is back when I adjusted the timeline so they got married in the 1820s and I had fun drawing them in the fashions of that era being flirty newlyweds hehe
Some Wild West Traxiel sketches! I enjoy drawing them from this era since they both had a lot of fun in 1880s America for different reasons lol
