Norik of Derlusk

Age: 52

Class: Bladesinger Wizard (lvl: high)

Kind, sly, a little cranky, but always up for mischief, Norik’s a fearsome but respected spellsword, and the proud mentor of one Rhaya de Silva. He was born a proverbial blacksheep in a family of sorcerers, having no magic of his own naturally, and was something of a delinquent in his younger years. After a life altering event, however, he not only cleaned up his act, but decided that if magic won’t choose him, he’ll make it respect him. He studied magic at the schools of Yallasch, quickly taking to the more martial school of bladesinging. Shortly after, he ended up being partnered with the Trade Alliance of the Border Kingdoms.

Present day, he’s still very much active in both his work life and in Rhaya’s, eager to see how the young Tenebrine come into his own legacy. And though he’d be quick to deny it, almost everyone in Derlusk knows the ratkin sees Rhaya as his own son.

So this was a fun process drawing the rat rizzard. I HAD to have him stanced up like this. And I’m actually pretty proud of how the face and the hand came out!

Also proud of how many of my moots want to date/fuck him hehe

He’s yet to appear in the And We Went Out Roving campaign, but I had to establish what kind of man raised Rhaya.

His inspirations were Dante from Devil May Cry, Uncle Iroh, a bit of Zorro, a bit of Jubei from Blazblue… and a LOT of the Red Mage class from Final Fantasy 14.
