I was exploring a bit and I can't believe we actually get to meet the captive consort from Priestess records!
I'm in love with this place and its eeriness! It's just so interesting to see how old some of these people are and how they came to outlive many of the dragons
I find Quiauhquetzal's case so fascinating because it sheds a bit more light on the dynamics between the Natlantea dragonlords and humans. CL-12 was known to manipulate the humans of her domain to achieve her own ends. But this case demonstrates her machinations were not purely one-sided (even if only sometimes) if we get to consider how Quiauhquetzal achieved her revenge through Ix Roq'ratik'obala's support
This only fuels my need to learn more about each Sovereign Lord's attitude towards the humans of their domain. Of course, we know CL-08 and CL-03 might have had some of the most peaceful, so to speak, relationships with their tribes. And we know CL-11 was said to be the most hostile towards humanity. I can surely make a few guesses in regards to the other dragonlords' attitude towards the humans of their domains based on the deliberation records. Even so, I would like to see CL-01's attitude towards them, especially since he was quick to honor Xbalanque's strength and respect him. Heck, I would LOOVE to see what exactly Xiuhcoatl thought of the humans of Natlantea!
Xiuh's case will always interest me the most because, so far, in comparison to Apep or Neuvillette, we don't really know much about his opinion on humanity. And then there is his elitist ass! Oh but what you mean you allow some of your dragonlords to wreak havoc on their domains (i can assure you the humans on CL-11's territory were living the horrors), but you also approve Kemonel's and the Priestess' plans to create these sorts of sanctuaries for their subjects, thus benefitting the humans of their settlements and practically ensuring their survival despite their status as the "weak" and lesser beings of this hierarchy (although of course there is still some nuance to this since since Kemonel came out with her dream-realm plan to protect her dragon subjects). Still, CL-08 noted this contradiction herself because then she herself considered/questioned "If the hierarchy of power has failed to ease our Sovereign's suffering..."
Anyway, I'm ranting and I don't know what I'm even writing at this point, but I just wish genshin would dwell a little bit more on all this because good lord Xiuh and the dragonlords surely haunt me 24/7!
