From what I can tell by the trailers, The Babadook in some monster in a top hat and a long black coat that makes drives parents to kill their children, and this is what the promotional poster for the movie looks like:
Now my OC Murrick wears a top hat and a long black cape and kills and does other bad things to children who have been abused by the parents and the abusive parents get blamed for it, and this is something I drew of him:
It's probably nothing idea stealing related but I can't help but wonder how the hell they got a similar idea for a monster so similar to one of mine.
