my takeaway from episode 14: jiang cheng is the BEST CHARACTER EVER and if i had a time machine the first thing i would do is go back to two months ago and punch past me IN THE FACE for ever doubting it!!!!

that was weird though, that we heard a soundtrack version that definitely can't have been the version that wwx heard in a cave with only lwj singing and no instruments. or was lwj like. projecting it into his consciousness since they have this telepathic bond now?
probably they just wanted to play the soundtrack version because it sounds good. i'm overthinking it.
you know, when everything in your show is dubbed over anyway, why would you have an a cappella version with weird cave acoustics when you could just use the soundtrack version? i didn’t take this overthinking far enough. i underthought it actually.
