Stupid, you shouldn’t have done that. I’m not worth it...! He almost did say it. He wasn’t worth it, he didn’t care that much about himself... But Oro did care. Oro cared, and now he was hurt because of it. But...still relieved. For some reason, the dragon sounded relieved.
Fuller wasn’t sure how to feel about that. It made him happy, and upset, and scared, and helpless, all at the same time. A whole mix of emotions that just made his chest hurt.
Or maybe it was the sudden urge to sob that he was trying to hold back, despite the fact that tears were starting to run down his face. Fuller hated crying, but he was scared. Panicking. He was panicking, too, pulling his jacket off to press against the wounds. Trying to stop the bleeding.
Silently wishing, praying to whoever could hear him, that there was something he could do. Heal him, even just taking the pain away. “N-Next time...don’t... Just... Just--” He was stuck. Someone, please help.
