'Pon arriving at the third division's barracks, he does not cease his foot movement's velocity, for anyone, till he ultimately locates the man he had come to seek out. " ----- Oi, Captain Ichimaru! " he calls forth from behind, lack of interest, not so effortlessly perceivable, written 'gainst countenance. " Please accept this piece of candy on behalf of the Tenth Division. " once the merchandise was distributed, he pivots and forthwith absconds ''fore any quantity of utterance could be articulated in turn. / For Ichimaru!!
A slender form slinks upright when the call is heard, he turns to realise the small form of the individual in his midst, a playful smile is offered in greeting but before he can do much more than that, there's something being slipped into his hands. Long, lanky fingers gracefully grasp the offering.
"Ara ara, what's this now, chibi-jubantai?"
No sooner had he spared the inquistive words to notice that the small third seat had taken to quickly abscond from the scene entirely.
Curious indeed. A slitted gaze falls down to the item in hand.
Such delightful mystery. Could be sweet. Could be a prank~.

@ Lieutenant Gin, if you don't mind!
Sitting idly by the engawa at their rendezvous—somewhere within the less festive corner of the 5th, two plain-looking bento boxes laid still on the lady's lap when she felt her company's reiatsu thrusting into her own invisible bubble. Plump snout knotted into a pout in accordance with the frown across her pair of flaxen brows, the young pupil was visibly upset.
"We had a cooking party or some sort at the dorm earlier today and were supposed to exchange meals with each other at the end of it, but the girls didn't seem too eager to eat mine or even give it a try," the cat finally hopped out of the bag; a long, heavy sigh followed along on its dramatic escape, whereas scrawny fingers remained busy fidgeting the outer rim of the containers. "What am I supposed to do with this much leftover now... There's just no way I can finish it all on my own..."
The wide-stretching smile he was wearing dropped; forfeit the second he detected the lamenting tone inside of her pouting, replaced now by a more inquisitive expression. Sure, he'd learned how over-dramatic she could be over time but there was that turning in his gut that still managed to wretch when she was audibly upset in his presence.
"Nani, nani, this won't do, Ran-chan. Perhaps they just ain't got no sense about 'em. Nya? Who passes up a good meal, anyhow? I wouldn't if it were offered." There's a soft yet sly smile along his features, the sort of sincere smile he's oft to share only between the two of them. Like a secret only she could be trusted with.
All along he's doing the best he can not to comment on the unique smell given off of the food she's prepared and packed. Though he may not be able to keep his comments to himself for too long. She really wasn't one who'd taken easily to any cooking but for the time being he's doing what he can to be a supportive if not typically distant friend these days. He really didn't mind giving anything she'd made a try. And the fact she did try was a feat all it's own, this much he knew.
