The tiny Papyrus slept on blissfully unaware of ever being caught. Nor that he had done anything wrong in the first place. Snugglebug, or Snugs as he was more often called, was not used to his powers at all. His abilities were wild and untamed, but he had no one to guide him on how to use them either. The child knew that he could teleport to different places, often different timelines, but he could not control where he would end up. Snugs could only hope that he would end up somewhere where the people who lived in it were friendly. So one could only assume the panic the babybones felt as he suddenly appeared inside an unfamiliar house that smelt of coffee. The atmosphere wasn’t unfriendly, but it wasn’t one that he knew and that made him very nervous.
However the smell of coffee was making the child tired, well even more tired when he was already exhausted. Snugs felt as though he needed a disguise to scurry away so he took a shirt and draped it over himself. The babybones would return the shirt or have one of the other Papyrus who knew what they were doing return it. Yet Snugglebug wasn’t aware of how warm and safe that flannel shirt would make him feel.
He was so.... so tired.... maybe... whoever owned the shirt wouldn’t mind if he found a place and fell asleep? Despite the possible danger that is what the child ended up doing. However, instead of finding some comfortable place to lay on the tiny Papyrus ended up sleeping on the floor.
He already disturbed a shirt, Snugs didn’t want to disturb anything else.
Which is how Val had stumbled upon him. Snugglebug shivered a bit with feeling the shirt move but instead of waking up he merely made a tiny squeak of complaint before curling up more to keep himself warm.
