Shipping and Handling

Blog has been around a few days, let's talk ships!

Let's preface this with, I adore Yosuke and Saki together, whether it's a friendship, romantic or something that crosses the line in between. In fact, ambigious squishy not-sure feelings are like my crack for these two. I will never force a Yosuke writer/RP'er to ship this with me. He simply means a LOT to Saki as her only friend at the time.

Saki wants him to enjoy his time in Inaba, just so he can avoid all of the mistakes she made of trying to leave too soon and winding up in trouble.

I am open to shipping Saki with female characters (shipped with a Chie, AU Miki Sanada, Yukiko, Izanami-long story- as well as Ai Ebihara). As such, I write Saki as bisexual. She probably won't 'come out' to her parents if she starts dating/living with another woman, but will have to at some point.

Instead of shame, Saki would think about her and her lover's futures in their careers and the possibility of building a family, would be what holds her back from being open in public with her relationships.

Saki and Kanji Tatsumi was also an old ship of my first blog, not sure how that would work out again. Would depend on the writer/what all they wanted.

Crossover ships are welcomed as well, either within the Persona fandom or outside of it.

Just know she's a flirt and will tease at any given opportunity if left to stew in her boredom for too long.

One-side crushes can be a thing as well, either from Saki's end or the other muse/character's end.

Let's talk about Katherine

or rather, AU version of Katherine.

Years ago, I ran a Katherine McBride RP blog that interacted with a lot of Persona 3, 4 and 5 characters. As such, I cooked up an AU that after the Catherine Good or Best ends, in which Katherine breaks up with Vincent, freeing him to be with his Catherine; Katherine rises in the ranks of her company.

After a series of promotions, she's risen to the ranks of Officer of Operations, Katherine gets called upon to help set up their overseas branch in Tokyo. She had to uproot her life at 34, learn a new language and mesh with a different culture.

This AU is mostly to felicitate interactions with other ATLUS/Persona muses.

However, if asked, we can plot to instance where Katherine is still in Chicago. For the most part though, this will be post Catherine game and she's left Vincent years ago.

me: generally i stick with 'remnant storytelling translates [remnant standard] into the language of choice (english in my case) so any language isms that don't make sense in context are just result of translations to the closest thing even if it can't really exist on remnant'

me: but i'm not calling it a french press when i could call it a coffee press. but i will call them croissants because i'm not making up ~remnant~ croissants.

also me: okay so gee, geez, and other jesus derived exclamations are right out. brother(s) and gods are fine though. not everything has to be a semi religious swear. damn it. i need something softer and sillier for this moment though. aw man just doesn't have the same cowabummer ring to it–
