JMM staff Joanna and Paige were delighted to speak with students from Maryland Institute College of Art's Fiber Arts Department during their recent visit to #FashionStatement and #StitchingHistory from the Holocaust. 

We loved this comment following the visit: 

“One of my students who is pursuing a Curatorial Studies concentration at MICA and was a teen fellow at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, said on the way home that the exhibition was one of the best museum experiences she had had in her life.”

“I learned that the Jewish members of the community spoke a different language.”

“I learned that the lady tried to use her dress making skills to get a pass to come to America.”

We were delighted to help the Friends School of Baltimore host their guest from Tandem Friends School in Charlottesville, VA here at the Museum as they learned about Baltimore, both past and present.
