@ultimateutopia - my dagger x your zidane starter I promised you a thousand years ago
She thinks she lost him. And then her voice again, and her throne. What she meant to do to honor her mother - but also, her feelings about her mother are messy and she tries not to focus too much on what happened there - and what she meant to do for her people, all gone. She's angry, and it makes her even angrier when the Tantalus guys are nice to her, but she still joins them and moves to Lindblum with Vivi and Eiko, and it takes months for Zidane to come back.
She hugs him, she hits him, she hugs him again, she cries, doesn't let go of him for maybe hours, a bit of a happy ending. Except Dagger can't imagine what the others must have told him, since she's refused to let them be friends, kept it strictly professional, and never left her apartment if not to clean up the hideout or do something with Vivi and Eiko. It's embarrassing to think about it now, who is that girl, but it doesn't stop her from sitting so close to him she's almost on his lap, blackboard and chalk at hand.
And then she writes.
[I'm the housekeeper here, and sometimes I take food orders. They are getting used to it.] nobody wanted the mute girl to work, but she refused to be spoiled again. [I hated feeling useless. This is better.] A pause, then: [What will you do now?]
