kanthony plots that I'd like to try with willing Anthony rpers:

-the season is going like in canon, but when he doesn't propose to Edwina, Kate takes Lady Danbury's advice and tells her sisters that the viscount is in her heart too. Edwina is chill about this because she's not as committed yet and because Kate is being honest. Anthony, who is hearing this, may not be as chill. Up to the rper.

-KATE is the diamond (why? maybe the queen was having a laugh. maybe they talked about responsibilities and she saw in Kate the same determination she had to protect her family) so Anthony is trying to convince Kate to let him court her instead of letting him court her sister. Kate may or may not mock him.

in both cases, if Kate is holding back too much, AFTER the deal she made with the Sheffields come up, we can always go with book route and have them be caught alone (since they KEPT getting alone) and Portia is like OOHHHHH HE RUINED HER and he must marry her

-third option: legit the book route and they are 'forced to marry' nearly right away

in the end, my 'Nami is a mix of live action and manga' really means: Nami is never fully recovering from Arlong, she doesn't hate fishmen but it's going to take a very long time before she can fully feel safe and didn't spend nearly enough time with the crew pre-timeskip to help her? and then she was studying her craft without them, and now that they are reunited she's still learning how to take care for her family by being there, instead of by sacrificing herself?

blog revamp pretty much done: changed my rules, added muses, removed others. Almost done adding pages.

Please check at least the rules out when you have the time (and you can give a quick look at which muses I'm writing or going to write). In the next few days I'll add pages for the new ones, interest checker posts, and maybe do a few promos here and there. All depends on the the heatwave, forecast says the next two weeks will be literal hell, so activity will keep being spotty!

I made Nancy Wheeler say 'chillax' against her will once and I am not charmed by my own AU and want to write her way more, even though I said I would keep it super limited because I don't know how to write her dialogue. Sorrows!

This was supposed to be a damn normal siblings-reunion. Driving him to meet the others and have a fun weekend together. Her car well over the speed-limit, she opens the glove compartment to take out her gun just in case, not looking at Mike who is sitting next to her, but the chase seems to be coming to an end. She managed to lose them quicker than she thought, at least. She almost, almost, asks her brother if he has a new DnD campaign ready in an effort to pretend nothing happened, but it's obvious Mike won't just pretend they weren't just in a car chase.

"You know how I said I've been working at the Boston Herald? It's mostly true," Nancy chooses to say instead, trying to make it sound like she should get points for that, tone forcefully casual. But the thing is, Mike is the last person she wanted to know - he's her little brother. They shared all sorts of traumas, she doesn't want to drag him back in. The age gap has also always been too big to confide in him. So now it's just awkward. "I... also happen to have a side-gig! Which is really a main-gig. I'm not at liberty to disclose too much, but I'm helping some people do some... good things. Any chance that's good enough for you? Maybe we can just let it be, and... chillax?" Ok, there is casual, and then there is using words that just don't belong to her.

Besides the fact that she couldn't dance, the ball itself could've been quite entertaining, had she been gifted with the company of her dear cousin - but Leandra was occupied with her many suitors, and all Bonnie was left with were the pitiful - if she was lucky - or superior looks from others. As amusing as it was at first, she was not one to stay silent for too long, and seeing no opportunity for a conversation here, she took a walk around the premises. Even if it was terribly inappropriate to do so in public, she was more than ready to have a chat with the house staff, who may indulge her if they were away from prying eyes. Unexpectedly, she found an open door that led outside and was unguarded, and slipped through before the guards could return.

As a reward for that broken rule, she bumped right into a man, and barely managed to not to fall down with the help of her cane, still swaying dangerously in her attempt not to hurt her knee. "Apologies, sir!" should she run back before she was seen alone with a man, or would the guards suffice as chaperones? It wasn't as if they could order her to go back in once she had left.

All Kate knows is that Eloise has had a falling out with Penelope to the point that she's even mad Colin is spending time with her lately, even if he claims to be doing it for virtuous reasons. Kate has a lot of thoughts about that too, but for now, she's focusing on her sister in law, bringing her tea so that they may have the chance to discuss the situation. Either that, or at least Eloise will have some company.

"I will admit, I have been looking forward to this little reunion with my favourite Bridgerton. But do not tell your brother I said that," she winks at Eloise, serving her tea, the one that is actually good, "And I know you are insightful enough to guess your family is worried, but I also hope you believe me when I say I missed you. Do you think we could have another one of our little, scandalously honest, chats?"

It's not everyday you get a nightmare, not to Sanji. His dreams were various things from cooking centric, even all blue centric. Dreams painted in ocean blues. Powerful currents and how the sea is dotted with every kind of fish imaginable. And then obviously there's the damn crew centric dreams. Mostly Luffy focused a bit. The rubber stringing him along to wherever. The fridge being broken into. The horrors of food completely gone and the lack of rations. (Bonus: He can dream of the women.)

But this dream became a nightmare, trapped in iron; almost suffocating under all these high expectations of family. The sad cry of loneliness echoing in the dungeons. He dreamt of saying that he was sorry that he existed. It was loud, screaming, enough to wake up, eyelids snapping open—staring up at the bunk above him. Tears do leak, slipping from the outer corners and down his temples. His hands shaking. And yet she happened to be here. Maybe it was fate, or just good (or bad) timing. He sat up, realizing his hands are still shaking. No words exchanged. Her lips found themselves on his forehead and Sanji felt his body relaxing a little. The touch soft. It brought him ease. He breathed in deep, eyes closed. " Sorry. " He mutters uncharacteristically low. " Nightmare, that's all; not a big deal, Nami-San. "

Nightmares have been Nami's loyal companions ever since Arlong had destroyed her life and long after he was gone - they had returned after visiting Fishman Island, too many pins and gills have brought some awful memories back. And just as sleep was starting to come easier again, Sanji ditched them in a way that felt so familiar, that she had gone right back to it. She'd blame the cook, but she knows how scared he must have been, thinking it was all over. So when she realizes this is a bad night for Sanji too, she comforts him best she can. It's especially bad when he can't even crack some joke about her presence. Nami sits next to him, taking one of his shaky hands, entwines fingers so he can't escape, and brings it to her lap where she can put her other on top too. She doesn't look at him directly to give him a little privacy, since he's crying.

"Don't insult me by lying. You can not talk about it, but don't act like I'm a stranger again. You wouldn't want to hurt my feelings, Sanji-kun, would you?" Oh yes, she's not above guilt-tripping. After all, she forgave him way more easily than what she'd promised him at Whole Cake.

"... After... When I... know I might have a few rough nights... Well, I asked Usopp to make me a night light. Just to make sure I always know where I am. And you know Usopp, he made three different ones, just because. Could that help?" A question asked with a tone that implies it's all completely normal, instead of the many ones in her head: Did you dream of your family? Of being trapped there? Or was it your mother? Or maybe in your dreams we don't save you? How often does this happen?

today we went to my grandpa's house with the dogs because there is AC there and the old dog is sicker (she's sick every 2-3 days now) and we wanted to help them escape the heatwave. guys.

the dogs are incredibly claustrophobic, hate being inside, hate being in new places, hate not being allowed to go outside (the heat), and it was 3 hours of basically fighting two panicking toddlers until we HAD to let them go back to our house, to the garden, heat or not, and finally they were able to, you know, freaking pee and then even eat and go nap. I give up. I GIVE UP. I'm exhausted and it was all for nothing, we'll end up getting sued or something for keeping our dogs outside when those two little monsters will die of fear and anger if we put them inside. They are also somehow fresher and we wet them (against their will, mind you) once every two hours, so up until now they have never shown signs of feeling hot, so screw it.

I meant to do drafts here with the AC but apparently all I can do is rest first, because it was way too much for my body

if you are wondering why I'm not doing starters, my dogs killed me??? (meanwhile I'm also considering the idea of adding a barbie muse? (specifically Strong Woman Barbie, who Totally Doesn't Care about Girl Things by definition. She's super strong! Super sassy! She's Not Like Other Girls! and then in reality she's like: but I like girls and girly things can I also make my own path and be bad at some things and have a happy ending that includes romance, and learn how to be soft without having to pretend I'm stupid??)
