He could swear that they did this to him on purpose. Like, it wasn't as though he didn't like Aqua or anything, he just didn't know her - yet they'd gone ahead and left just them two alone sitting at the beach while the others ran off to get snacks or something - he honestly had forgotten by now as he'd been trying to rack his mind for something to say - something, anything to break this silence that just lingered on between them. Ah! But what was he supposed to say!? All he really knew was that Aqua was a Keyblade Master, that she'd fallen into the world of darkness for a rather long period of time and that she was friends with Terra and Ventus. He did have a feeling they'd meet when he was younger too, but he couldn't recall much from there...ironic for someone who went around asking people to remember his name..

"So...erm..."

"Nice weather we have huh...", he coughed slightly, shaking his head, "Ahem! What I meant to say was, erm...how have things been?". Nope. Everyone needed to get their asses back to this beach right now! All he was doing was making a fool of himself here!

Swinging his blade, keeping his focus on a target dummy, Lea hadn't been given himself much time to take a break and relax. Wanting to always be on his guard, always wanting to be ready for anything, he didn't want to grow weak if he stopped training for too long. Although him and Kairi were put into a situation where they needed to train a lot faster, Lea still wanted to keep going.

After Sora's departure, the former nobody couldn't sit idle by and wait for, well... anything really. While Kairi was off trying to find ways to bring Sora back to them, Lea had been forcing himself to become stronger. And that meant cutting back some time with his friends. Even with the ones he had finally gotten back.

With fire in one hand and his keyblade in the other, Lea did another combo at the dummy, breathing hard but not slowing down in the next set of attacks, he became so focused on training that he didn't even notice one of his friends entering the training room at all! Not until he finished the combo he was pulling off and stopped to finally try and catch his breath.

Lea was awake, but he felt like he barely slept. There was a feeling of tiredness, but it wasn't because he was sleepy. He sat at his apartment's dining table with only a cup of freshly brewed coffee with a bit of vanilla creamer.

There were a few tasks to be done. Nothing major since he was still recovering from the war. Though he wasn't sure if he would have the energy for much else. He wasn't sure if there was enough energy for what he had to do that day. There was a soft groan.

Lea's eyes opened. Morning light poured in from the window. The apartment bedroom was lit brightly by the morning rays. He stared at the ceiling as his mind replayed the most recent series of nightmares. After around ten years in the darkness, it was hard not to dream of that time.

He sat up slowly despite the lack of motivation to get out of bed. A dull pain emanates from the still-healing fractured arm. The very fracture caused by Xemnas during the war.

With everything done, there wasn't much for him to do. Training had been put on hold until his arm could fully heal, and he wasn't very useful when it came to locating those who had disappeared. Most days mostly involved him trying to find ways to distract himself while everyone else had things to do.

While the worlds may be at more peace, there still lingered the fight for both light and darkness and although Sora is still somewhere in a far and unknown place, everyone still kept their eyes peeled and always looking for him. As Lea entered the world known as Arendelle, he didn't quite realize just how cold this world actually is!

"Damn, its freezing here!" Lea called out, quickly wrapping his arms around himself as he kind of regretted getting rid of the old organization cloak. That old thing always kept him safe from not only the darkness but also from any kind of bad weather too! But Lea should considered himself lucky to do this, he begins to use some of his magic to heat up his body to keep warm before it got too bad.

"Good thing I'm skilled with fire magic, I guess..." Now taking this chance to look around the area, he started making his way to one path when suddenly a wild heartless made it appearance! Immediately summoning his keyblade however, the said monster begins to run off towards another direction.

"Hey, get back here!" He called out chasing after it until he noticed that this heartless then joined in on a even bigger group, all of them surrounding someone he couldn't quite see. Not taking a moment to stop in his tracks, his eyes widen at the dangers this person is in and begins to start dashing towards the group of heartless. "Get back!" Lea called out as he begins to swing his weapon at some of the creatures!

Well, it wasn't as though he didn't understand what she was trying to say, nor did the meaning go unheard. If he were to be honest, he wasn't that attached to the name 'Axel', but when it came from Xion or Roxas, he just didn't seem to mind it all that much. Maybe that's why he'd slip up and refer to himself with that old name from time to time - or maybe a part of him just hadn't wished to confuse Xion? After all, her name was the same - how'd she feel about that? How'd Roxas feel about it too for that matter? With a small shrug, he reached down and gentle ruffled the girl's hair, his usual smile forming as he shook his head, "Truthfully? I don't mind. Whatever is easiest for you to remember. I've always been both Axel and Lea if you think about it...and hearing you guys call out Axel...it isn't that bad, you know?", he laughed a little bashfully, scratching the back of his neck as he tried to think on the right way to express his thoughts. He really wasn't good at these whole emotional scenes...having a heart came with a few issues it seemed.

"What do you feel most comfortable with? Whichever comes most natural to you, alright? I don't want you worrying too much about what to call me"

Someone's after her; it's no one she recognizes from the Institute and, unless they brought more humans in, it means it's either a synth or someone who has nothing to do with the Institute itself. Tesla cannon ready, just to be safe, she presses the button in her belt that is meant to activate the code that'll confuse the synth and make it go away, and since it does nothing, then human it is. Maybe he's not even after her, but one can never be too safe. "Hands where I can see them or I fry you," she warns, peeking from her temporary house's window. "Who are you?"

"It's just a copy. A synth." Her mother, her real living mother, has actually managed to reach the Institute, drawn there by the little con the Institute played involving Kellogg and that synth; clearly she hasn't realized that the fake Shaun stayed in Diamond City more than a decade ago, if she thinks the copy might be her current kid. And even if she's forced herself to not think of a possible reunion, she can't help but wonder if her mother can look at the boy's features and recognize the similarities between them. "I'm sorry, you weren't supposed to see that... You also weren't supposed to be able to reach us..." She's frustrated, because the last thing she wanted was to trap her surviving parent there just when she was about to escape. She's not even ready to face her. Too much of a hassle. "That is what your child looked like years ago, under Kellogg's care. It's been a while."
