A purple butterfly flew into the open window. Well it started off as a purple butterfly. This purple butterfly flew around until finding a shade and. . .turned into a human !
“Oh. . .well this isn’t my apartment.” Lily said as he turned human. “Which. . .one is this ?”
Befriending him can be a lengthy process, since he’s reserved, shy, and timid to a fault. Cripplingly so.
The most effective ways of getting underneath his fluffy shell: conversing and food. Can’t count the number of times he’s attempted conversations with people only for his bulbous belly to rumble and betray him at the worst possible time.
By nature, Max is high strung and anxious. Patience is key, the more time you spend around him, he’ll gradually open up and put trust into you. He’s a sweet boy, just meek and mild-mannered. Preferring to keep to himself play video games in his room.

There was never any telling how long he’d been gone. He certainly didn’t keep track. But he found it best not to question when the course he drove started to eke him home back. He tried not to come back empty-handed. Never did. Didn’t actively look for stuff, but found it anyway, kept things for them, brought them useful things or useless things they’d like anyway. Books. Soil samples and coordinates. A wind-up frog once. This time was a find and a half.
He closed his eyes going up the lift into the Citadel, his fingers drumming at the steering wheel -- he welcomed the static, helping to usher the ghosts into the quieter corners of his mind. They led him to Furiosa without asking, idly chattering away about the goings on. He wasn’t really listening, but the knowledge that things were going well here was...good. He needed that. Especially after where...hm.
When he saw her, he said nothing, just took the bag from his shoulder and set it down on a table. The only thing in there was a tool box, one that had definitely been stashed away at the edge of Before. Why definitely? Because he knew this for a fact. Because he’d stashed it.
Max cleared his throat, nodding at the bag. “-- Found it. Out at uh-- Past uh-- hm.” He frowned, unsure of how to put it into words. Settled for opening up the bag, withdrawing the tool box.
“-- From before.” He nudged the toolbox toward her. “-- More use for you.”
When Max agreed to work the party in question, he hadn’t expected it to be a secret babysitting mission for himself. His friends had told him that working parties where a slightly younger group in attendance would do wonders for his sales, especially if he hiked the prices. Younger crowds were always desperate for a high and would pay any price for such with a dealer around. However, they had failed to mention that she would be in attendance. He couldn’t stand her. She was part of the friend group, but if she was north, he was south. He strayed as far away from her as he possibly could. Max wasn’t sure what it was about her, but he couldn’t stand her. She tried over and over again to have a conversation with him, but he blew her off every time.
Now, Max had a wad of cash in his pocket, and not nearly enough alcohol in his system to be listening to the music blaring from the speakers. His eyes made his way around the crowd of people dancing and mingling, but all he could see was her. He rolled his eyes instantly just from the sight of her existence, knowing she was more drunk than him and knowing that’s exactly why he wasn’t allowed to leave yet. Not until she did. And from the looks of it? She was enjoying herself and her company far too much. Max was about to look away when he noticed the look on her face change; suddenly, she wasn’t as into things as she seemed. It was like a call of the wind had occurred and before he could stop himself, Max was making his way across the room and putting himself in between herself and the nuisance of a man that had been bothering her. “You ready to go yet or?” He asked, his voice loud enough to pierce through the bass of the song playing.
“I-I’m sorry what?” Max asked brushing some of her hair back out of her eyes something had gotten her to zone out thinking about one of her comics after some inspiration had hit her
“I’m sorry I spaced out can you um...start from that...that third bit....I’m sorry” she was totally embarrassed but this kind of thing happened all the time to her she always managed to zone out
Spending another night alone, Max grabbed the stash and broke up a few lines on his side table. His loft was pretty stylish thanks to all of the money the mob had supported him with. Max had recently told one of the other crew members that Davide would get his money. He had the new package for a week and hadnt turned in anything. A few hours of partying alone at 2 am and Max was passed out, leaving the doors unlocked.
Jessica's eyes slowly fluttered open, the woman groaning in pain softly. She had her eyes open only to meet a dimly lit room, a small lightbulb almost directly above her head. She moved to go sit up, only that chains were keeping her bound to a table under her. "... Wha-? What the fuck? Where am I? What is this?! Let me go!"
Maxwell stood from the wooden chair behind Jessica. He crept up behind her and yanked her hair back, “Stop talking. You know what you did and why you’re here, and now, you’re going to pay.” He whispered with a sinister grin. “You can tug at the restraints as much as you want, but you’ll never get through, and even if you do, I have a tranq ready, so we can keep playing aaaaalll night. Hmm, how should I start...I’ll let my guest decide! So, is it the saw, drill, or pliers?”
-slam dunks my face into a trash basket- HAPPY AFTERNOON PALS I DREW MORE HARHAR
JUST IN TIME FOR VENLATINS DAI. HOO BOY
i was gonna do cute library lesbians i swear but boobs are hard so i gotta PRACTICE
so today i drew a cute cop couple instead, David and Max. they’re uh, they’re cool
i’ll talk about em under the cut k? k. we good
David Roswell (At left)-
A strong, tough-built wolf with a big heart, David’s always been top dog in every career he’s taken on. He’s a nice, friendly person who’s always willing to lend someone a hand, but won’t let himself be trampled all over. He’s on good terms with family and can make friends with almost everyone, which tends to work to his advantage. He gets scary when he’s angry, though.
David was a small-town cop before getting into the FBI, through recommendation by one of his old friends. Shortly after joining Chief Camo’s (that’s just what they call him) team, he was partnered up with Max, and the two became fast friends. Since that day, nothing’s been the same, and David for many months has contemplated asking for Max to stay with him forever. David adores Max and enjoys his company quite a bit, willing to do anything to make him smile. He knows the hedgehog has issues and merely wants to make life a little easier for him, without holding him down. His only wish is that Max never loses that smile of his.
Maxwell Kasper (At right)-
A smart and snarky hedgehog, somewhat short in build and muscle, but big in heart. He’s playful and mischievous, well known for causing the occasional shenanigan and joke on his co-workers, as he likes to have fun. Of course, he can get very serious when he needs to, and rarely backs down from a fight, no matter the odds. Max is relatively friendly but sometimes naive, and can’t often tell whether a person is truly cruel or not. Oddly enough he’s not one to get angry very often, and when he does, he’s a crier too.
Max got into the FBI with a friend and was partners with him for quite some time, but when said friend was promoted to a higher status, Max was left behind and without a partner. When David joined, Max was partnered up with him, and although wary of David at first, he warmed up to him rather quickly, and soon became fast friends. David was there for him and listened to all of Max’s concerns and worries, willing to help him through life while knowing he couldn’t have a hand to consistently hold. With David by his side, Max’s life has improved and he’s become a lot stronger as a person. He looks forward to seeing the wolf’s face every single day, and hopes that one day he’ll ask him to say with him forever.
