Esme chuckled a little and began to walk backwards facing the girl “That all depends, what am I agreeing to exactly?” esme asked her whatever it was it sounded tempting but she wasn’t sure at the same time. Even she knew not to get in over her head to much.

“It’s not any fun if it’s not a surprise.”  Jules replied with a shrug and a small laugh.  She loved surprises, especially when they positively affected strangers.  Random acts of kindness, that kind of thing.  “But I promise, it’s nothing dangerous or illegal.  Trust me?”

Esme thought for a while before she nodded a bit “Alright, you’ve got yourself a deal. But if it turns out to be something that’s going to get into trouble i’m going home.” Esme said to her she was mostly teasing but she didn’t think there was anything she couldn’t handle at this point

Max laughed a little bit as she continued pulling nature out of her hair and dropped it on the ground “Hey I always look like a lost girl.” Max said grinning as she got the last leaf out of her hair and struggled with the stick that was just a little tangled in with her hair at this point

“Not when you’re all clean, you don’t,” Lavender pointed out as she picked up the nature Max had dropped on the ground, cradling it in her hands, “You can’t be a lost girl if you don’t consistently have dirt on you somewhere. I’m pretty sure it’s in the laws somewhere.”

Max shook her head and smiled at her  “I get dirty, I climb trees and constantly have pencil lead smudged on my hands from writing and crap, plus have you seen my vlog? i’m always in one mess or another.” Max said giggling a little she loved the adventures of her vlog despite the fact that she usually got in trouble for them in one way or another

“Did I do something to offend you?” Kida asked unsure of why the other was staring at her, they’d been there for a while and Kida had noticed they’d been observing her for a while she thought she was being normal, but then again she didn’t really do anything by normal standards, she supposed it was what made her and atlantis a bit more interesting.

Max rolled her eyes a little bit at her, unfortunately she had a point. Max would figure something out though.

“Well fine then, be that way.” Max said sticking her tongue out at her before she burst into giggles herself and laid back in the grass pulling more twigs out of her hair as best she could

“You could at least help me get them out again.”

Lavender pouted her lower lip out as she watched the Darling sister remove the nature from her hair. “D’aww, but then that ruins the aesthetic,” she said, playfully as she conceded with a sigh and began to remove the bits and pieces from her hair, “You look like a true lost girl now!”

“I have to make a time lapse video for a class,” Max explained to her “So I have to set up my camera somewhere that would make an interesting video, pray no one touches it and then I have to edit it on my laptop and should probably apply something to try and make it pretty.” 

Max readjusted the Tripod on her arm and tried to adjust her equipment so she could possibly take the book from Audrey  “What about you? What are you up too?”

“I’m surprised you already have an assignment like that. what a rude professor” Audrey says with a laugh. she saw the other struggling and decided to help by taking a few other books off the top of the towering pile in her arms, as all of her stuff fit in her backpack. she shrugged at the question, “not much. only two classes today so I have most of the day to myself. do you need help finding a spot or do you already have one in mind?”

“Either something with a lot of people activity or a good view of the sunset so that I can hopefully get a good video of that” Max explained to her she was grateful that Audrey was offering help though most people had just ignored her. 

“Thanks I really appreciate the help.” Max said as she started walking again there was one particularly nice hill a few minutes walk from where they were that was the best of both worlds but Max was a little worried that someone else had claimed it and she didn’t want all of them to be the same

Kor smiled and motioned to the seat  “Hey you’re king, do what you want.” she said to him with a smile of course she was just joking about that it was her way of really just breaking the ice as she moved her own seat over a little and took some of her work with her. SIgn up sheets and medical information for some of the people signing up for her dance classes

“Just because I’m the king, doesn’t mean I can do anything I want.”  Ben let out a soft chuckle before taking a seat.  He pulled out his phone to check an email quickly before taking notice of the papers in front of her and tucking it back into his pocket.  “What are you working on?”

“Dance class sign up forms and emergency contacts,” Kor explained to him to him making a few notes on a notebook “I’m a dance instructor and a voice coach at a studio nearby to much was going on so I had to leave to focus I think someone was doing piano lessons” Kor said rolling her eyes a little bit when they just started it could be a bit much on the brain

Scarlet took another step in the earth her feet bare and her shoes lost somewhere in the grass for the moment but she really didn’t care.

Max flopped down onto her bed and let out an annoyed groan, she was done editing videos for the week, her homework was caught up, and there was NOTHING to do!! she was having creative block to which didn’t help anything and it was pouring out so there was no way she was going exploring today. 

Max flopped over onto her stomach and scooped up her phone thinking for a moment, time to play random contact, she scrolled through her contacts swiping the screen of her phone and stopping it at random grinning when she spied her baby brother and immediately sent him a text

If Danny wasn’t in class, chances are he was sitting in his apartment surrounded by a stack of books.  Today was no exception, as he was sitting at his desk with a copy of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream open in front of him.  He’d read it many times before, but it was one of his favorites, so he often found himself rereading it.

The sound of his phone letting out a familiar ding caused him to look up from his book with a roll of his eyes.  However, seeing that it was his sister who’d texted him caused him to relax a bit more.

{Text:} harassing my baby brother, get your coat we’re getting ice cream.

it really wasn’t a question she got up and grabbed her coat and her bag before she all but skipped out the door to go grab her brother shooting him another text

it was a nice night for ice cream, she probably wouldn’t have needed the coat if the ice cream shop was so darn cold besides at least she’d get to hang out with her brother! it had to be better than being bored out of her skull at home.

Max rolled her eyes a little only to notice that something didn’t feel right and reached up pulling a twig from her hair and frowning a bit  “Why?” she asked looking up at Lavender and she couldn’t help smiling at the girls giggling  “You do realize this means war,” she said to her she would get her back eventually, probably dye her hair pink or something in her sleep just something that would get her revenge

“You can go ahead and try,” Lavender said as she playfully crossed her arms, “there isn’t much you can do to me that wouldn’t actually make me extremely happy… other than, like, swindling my dates, of course.” She frowned at herself and then shrugged, “Huh, maybe not even then.”

Max ran as fast as her legs could carry her, Camera hanging on a strap around her middle forgotten in her attempt at escape, how was she supposed to know that she wasn’t the only one who liked to hang out in an abandoned building and that they may or may not have liked her being there? Auratube better appreciate this video (Despite the last few minutes probably being a little shakey)

Max quickly saw a chainlink fence up ahead and picked up her pace the best she could jumping and scaling the fence quickly before hiding in what she thought had been some kind of old shed just until her pursuers went away.  She shut the door quickly behind her and slumped to the floor to catch her breath for a moment and when she opened her eyes she realized just where she had ended up.

Plants were everywhere in the slightly humid green house and she slowly stood up straightening out the camera so that her viewers could see what she saaw (once she uploaded the video anyway)

“You guys see this right?” she asked softly as she began to walk among the plants and flowers that filed aisle after aisle slowly they were beautiful “Someone around Auradon has quite the green thumb and I gotta tell you it’s not Naveen.”

Maeve hummed to herself again, her plants were happy. She felt it. They liked growimg here. They had a shot here. To thrive. Maeve did too. She felt more alive here than she ever did on the isle. Maeve puttered around before walking behind a large fern, she let her hands touch the base of the leaves, warmth flowing through her when she heard a crash and then a voice. Maeve was startled, worried. She kept this place a secret. Magic was allowed here and she didn’t want it taken.

Maeve poked her head from the fern “How did you find this place. Get out.”

Max jolted a bit and looked over being careful not to turn the camera on the girl in case she didn’t want to be filled  “Sorry I just um...I just-can I stay for like five minutes so I don’t get the crap kicked out of me by these sketchy guys that were hangng out at the place i was exploring please?” Max said pleadingly as she rocked back on her heels “Please? I really did not plan on dying today.” 

Max gave Maeve her best puppy face hoping that she could convince her

harry had taken it slower than most of the other villain kids to come over, preferring to stagger his visits than simply stay. there was a safety in the isle, in the familiarity he found there, than there was to the expectation on the other side. he wasn’t confident he could be what these people wanted - that he even wanted to be what they wanted, when his one ambition in life had been to be just like his father - and as such he’d flitted between the isle and auradon, stealing, making trouble and trying out what he could of life on this side. more recently, he’d been coming across more often as he found no consequences to his actions. it was pretty enjoyable, actually, and he found himself falling back into his worse habits.

like stealing off the innocent.

the girl he spotted seemed to not pay attention to her surroundings, and as such it was easy to walk in and swipe the drink from her hand with a quick grab and snatch. he span with a flourish, giving a sarcastic bow to her as he grinned. “thanks t’ye, beautiful. i wa’ feeling a mite thirsty and ‘ere yer are, bein’ so kind.”

Max was startled as her drink was snatched and looked up at him with a frown

"you could have just asked," she pointed out "but if you think it tastes better being snatched I'll just get another one, hope you don't have an allergy to chocolate though"

Her milkshake would be dearly missed but that also just meant she could get another one they had a pumpkin spice one she had debated on trying but she had opted to play it safe with chocolate, clearly the universe had other ideas.  Max turned back to the ice cream place before turning back to him “You want to come? If you’re going to steal my drink you can at least keep me company.” She said to him already opening the door and holding it waiting to see if he would follow her or run off

there was good money in auradon. although the barrier was open and no one was off trying to conquer the world (at the moment), petty theft and other crime was still something that happened, only encouraged by people like harry. he enjoyed the chance to practice his light-fingered pickpocketing, and scoping out potential targets on his trips over to auradon. the young woman he’d picked out today seemed about his own age, pretty enough (there were so many pretty people in auradon, it was entirely unfair, in his opinion) and with what looked a rather fetching gold bracelet that would get him an equally pretty penny. it was easy enough to set up an angle, to set himself up by a sign that he could (partially) read, and turn to bump into her, using the shock to unlatch her bracelet and pocket it swiftly. 

“oh, sorry, lass,” he replied, sincerity lacking from his tone. “better mind where i’m goin’.”

Esme had seen it before, she knew what he was up to and what he had done, she folded her arms over her chest and held out her hand expectantly

"I'd watch your hands more, unless you want to lose one." She said giving him a moment to decide before she would demand it

"give it back, it's my mother's and it's not even real gold." Esme told him she had borrowed her mother's bracelet today which the pirate had successfully snatched or at least almost if you counted getting caught. But Esme had seen it all before, she'd grown up around Romani who gave her people a bad name and others who gave them good names she knew all the tricks.

Max could, she wanted adventure and excitement like her mom had! She wanted a story to tell her kids some day of the amazing things she’d seen and done like all their parents seemed to have...maybe just without the almost dying kind of thing?

“Yeah I guess,”  It was an easier answer, didn’t keep up an overly complicated conversation that made her sound like a selfish brat or someone trying to talk her out of the adventures she wanted

As many people as Ben knew, he had to admit that he didn’t know many of the new vk’s that came over, or even some of the Auradonians, as horrible as that sounded.  So, when he walked into a coffee shop and spotted a free seat, he made his way over.  “Excuse me?”  He spoke, a polite tone in his voice.  “Is this seat taken?”
