"I'm always entering tournaments. Well... not always, but one of the best things about travelling has been learning about how other people fight. I liked fighting in America, but... I dunno. I think too many people base their stuff off regular ol' MMA and I hardly ever see anything cool." (for ryu!)
Ryu was sitting alone, awaiting his name be called in this tournament venue. A test of his strength. At first he seems to be quiet towards the other, seeming like he's not listening.
But then...
"I must agree. I travel for similar reasons. To see the strength of other fighting styles, other cultures.
I could only advance so far knowing only the fighting styles of my home."
I always did what I thought was right. No more, no less. - Ryu
"And that is all you can do."
Ryu sits cross-legged near the other, his back facing them, an interesting energy coming from them, that is what got him to sit by them and make conversation.
"But never be afraid to step back and see if this is the path for you."
