the headcanon thing: Marlene mckinnon
Roses. Marlene loves the smell of roses, always has, and the smell of roses always wafts from her body.
How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):
Marlene loves sleep. She often sleeps in class or curled up in the common room, her head in one of her friend's laps or shoulders. Cat naps through out the day is something that she looks forward too. She always tries to sleep in, even when she has Lily tugging at her ankles to get her out of bed, and more than often, she's sprawled out, arms and legs everywhere. She tosses and turns, ending up with her falling out of bed or getting tangled up in her sheets.
Anything, really. She has a favorite song in at least every genre that she knows about, although she has such a soft spot for The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.
How much time they spend getting ready every morning:
An hour to two hours, depending on the day. It usually takes her forever to get out of bed, and she shuffles about, going through her routine of hair, make up and dressing. It takes her a good hour or so to actually wake up and be more alert and coffee is a big important part of her morning.
Their favorite thing to collect:
Dream catchers. Ever since she was introduced to the beauty and the significance behind it, she has fallen in love with them. She has many decorated around her bed in her dorm and of course in her room.
Marlene doesn't really believe in anything religious, although it peeks her curiousity whenever a half-blood or muggle-born speaks about it.
Quidditch. Always quidditch.
Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):
Anything she can get her hands onto. If they're traveling in a muggle town, she has to visit everything. All the old sights, all the museums, and especially muggle restaurants. Everything about muggles fascinates her, really.
Favorite kind of weather:
Snow. Marlene loves the snow and being out in it.
A weird/obscure fear they have:
Marlene has always hated snakes, thanks to her brothers playing a prank on her when she was younger, but that is well known. What isn't well known is that she also has a fear of dolls. She hates their eyes and how they seem to stare into her soul.
The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:
Anything that revolves throwing a ball through a hole or something of that nature.
