the day had started so well for sarang, she had actually won a lottery prize at her neighborhood’s grocery store which was a one month’s worth of milk supply and her recent promotion campaign for one of her clients had shown even better results than she had anticipated so she did not expect that something would go bad so soon. and yet...it happened.
she went in the elevator of the mall holding just two bags from stores she had visited that day and there was someone else inside already. yet the moment she pressed the number for it to start going up, it stopped. “oh my god!” her breathing immediately became heavier. “oh my god!!” the despair in her tone? it was evident. the panic in her eyes? it was as obvious as a fly in a glass of milk. “did i die yet? no? yes? what?”
