I love them your honor.
Arraki reaction (And Roberto):
what difference does it make?
"What difference?"
The master of magnetism repeated back to the storming tempest of a woman, whose electricity crackled down from the sky and sent the waters below them into a cacophony of nature's wrath. His blood joins their waves as it drips down from him. But he does not seem to put effort into keeping the little bit collected. It will not paint the sea red.
"Think back to all those things you have done. The things I have done. Of any kind. Now...consider how many of them have truly made a difference, if for where we are now, those moments and actions have mattered."
Erik's gaze remained fixed on the turmoil around them, a reflection of the turmoil within him. He contemplated her words, the weight of years of choices and battles bearing down on him. The sea's roiling fury seemed to mirror his own conflicted thoughts. The crackle of electricity she created ran over his wounds and he did not mind.
"In the moment where we did make those choices, where we acted...those actions made a difference. For us and others."
The winds howled, and Erik's mind wandered through the tapestry of his past. Mutant rights, human-mutant conflict, alliances forged and broken. It was a tapestry woven in shades of gray, a constant dance between ideals and pragmatism.
"You of all people should know how a little wind can become a tornado. Or how a small wave on a shore is a tsunami in the distance."
"It all makes a difference, my dear. It is just a question of how we make them matter."
Her words held a wisdom he couldn't deny. In the grand scheme of things, their actions might seem inconsequential, but every ripple created had the potential to swell into something greater. Just as a small spark could ignite a wildfire, a single decision could alter the course of history. Magnus had made the very choice a number of times. Played the executioner with a small wave of a hand.
As the storm raged on, Erik's gaze returned to the chaos around them, and he marveled at the synchrony of nature's fury with their conversation. It was a reminder that even amidst the turmoil, there was purpose and power. Just as Storm harnessed the elements, he harnessed the currents of change
