Sure it wasnt great to be on a date with his exs best friend but he liked Ali. She was bright and vibrant, plus good company to be around. She got smiles out of him easily and he needed someone like that around.

He slipped his jacket off his shoulders and gently draped the black jacket onto her. "It looks good on you." He smiled warmly. "But you make everything look good." He said, his eyes dropping to her lips for a brief second. He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close before kissing her deeply. His free hand rested on the side of her neck and he stroked her cheek with his thumb when the kiss broke naturally. "Ive been wanting to do that."

A smile pulled on Eli’s lips at her quip back to him. “You got me there. Its good to see you. Though im curious, what are you doing back in town?” He asked as he waved at Spinner behind the cash register to get his usual order going. Coffee mostly black of course. It was hard not to think about Cam around Maya but Eli was in a better place mentally so it wasnt as hard this time. 

He couldnt help but wonder how she was doing. He knew about what happened a not too far back and he hadnt reached out to her like he wanted to. But they hadnt quite kept too much of a relationship after Cam. It was hard on both of them but he was sure it was harder on Maya and he didnt want to add to that.

Eli knew he stuck out in alot of ways but now it was because he was the new student. “That obvious huh?” He asked, picking at the black nail polish on his fingers. “First day. Names Eli.”

i don’t have to know everything. just what you’re comfortable telling me. / for eli , 'cause they have the same disorder and could help each other.

Eli didnt answer right away. He was still coming to terms with being diagnosed and now everyone seemed afraid of him. "Its really hard, you know? Everyones walking on eggshells around me like theyre afraid theyre gonna set me off." He leaned his head back against the locker and sighed heavily. "And then i crashed my hearse because of this stupid disorder. Like havent i been through enough? Why do i have to be bipolar on top of it?"

"Im not a monster. I have bipolar." He rolled his black lined eyes. Though the words left his lips, he wasnt sure he believed them. "But that doesnt excuse the things ive done, im very aware of that. I guess that doesnt answer your question. No i dont think im the only one. It just feels like that sometimes."

“Are you any good at carving pumpkins?” (for eli!)

"Am i any good? You are looking at the Halloween king himself. Of course i can carve a pumpkin. What kind of face are you thinking?" He asked, grabbing a pen to stencil on the pumpkin. The tools were spread all over the table along with several pumpkins.
